Abstract/Summary:
With the further development of China’s reform and opening-up,the traditional working methods and governance models of community neighborhood committees can no longer meet the diverse needs of community residents in the new era.Under this situation,my country has learned from the community development experience of Western countries,introduced social work,and guided social workers to intervene in community construction.All parts of the country are also actively exploring community construction models suitable for local development.Wenzhou L District led the city to introduce community full-time social workers in 2018,and is committed to improving the level of community service and the professionalism of community workers.This practice is also at the forefront of Zhejiang Province.However,since the opening of this post,few experts,scholars or institutions have conducted special investigations on this group.This article hopes that through the investigation and research of the L District,it can not only solve the problem of social work team construction in the L District,but also see the big from the small and expand the area,and provide a useful reference for my country to promote the professional development of community full-time social workers.This article takes full-time social workers in L District of Wenzhou City as the survey object.It selects some full-time social workers from the communities under the jurisdiction of 14 streets and towns in the district,invites them to fill out questionnaires,and visits the communities for in-depth interviews.Through the analysis of questionnaire data and in-depth interviews and investigations,we can understand the life and work status of full-time social workers in L District of Wenzhou City,and put forward useful suggestions for career development.After the promotion of welfare benefits and the open selection and recruitment,the trend of younger and more highly educated social workers in the community of L District has become obvious,and the level of community service has been significantly improved.But at the same time,there are many problems in the career development process,which are mainly manifested in the work content,the task is heavy,the pressure is heavy,and it is not in line with the social work profession,the learning and training results cannot be implemented;in terms of work compensation,the salary is relatively low,There is a certain degree of economic pressure,and the promotion channels are not smooth,and the development prospects are confused;in the team building,there is a phenomenon of multi-head management,and the degree of professionalism of personnel needs to be improved.In order to improve the life and work status of full-time social workers in L District,strengthen the construction of social workers,and coordinate and promote the professional development of community full-time social workers,this article proposes countermeasures from three levels: first,government departments should improve the construction and management system of community full-time social workers;It is that the community should create an environment for social workers to carry out professional services and enhance the cohesion of the social work team;third,the community full-time social workers themselves should actively apply the value concept,professional knowledge and helping skills of social work to service practices to further improve the level of community service and Professionalism of full-time social workers in the community.
