In December 2019,COVID-19 was discovered in Wuhan, and since then,COVID-19 has rapidly broken out and caused a significant impact on the physical and mental health of the general public.COVID-19 has become a virus that is difficult to eliminate completely in a short period of time due to its large number of patients, wide distribution and rapid transmission.COVID-19 is not only harmful to people’s physical health, but also has a huge impact on people’s mental health. In order to carry out school teaching, schools mainly adopt online teaching during the epidemic. After the outbreak was brought under control, students returned to the traditional offline teaching environment. In order to understand the mental health status of students in Huanglu Normal School under epidemic prevention and control and the promotion effect of aerobics on the mental health of students in Huanglu Normal School. To understand the mental health status of students in Huanglu Normal School under epidemic prevention and control and the promoting effect of aerobics on the mental health of students in Huanglu Normal School. This study took psychometric method as the main research method and MHT as the measurement tool to carry out aerobics teaching for 280 students in Huanglu Normal School during home and back to school under epidemic prevention and control.Based on the understanding of the mental health status of students in Huanglu Normal School during the period of home and back to school under the epidemic prevention and control, this paper further explored the influence of aerobics on the mental health status of students with different demographic characteristics. The results show that :(1)Students’ mental health problems are particularly prominent under the epidemic prevention and control, and the mental health status of students at home is more serious than that of students back to school.Among them, learning anxiety, allergy tendency, physical symptoms,self-accusation tendency and other mental health problems are more prominent. The mental health level of secondary vocational students of different ages is different, but there is no difference between different genders, the status of only child, the status of urban children and the mental health status of secondary vocational students.(2)In addition to the impulse tendency in the period of returning to school, aerobic exercise in different periods has a promoting effect on the mental health of secondary vocational students.(3)In terms of gender, aerobic exercise in different periods has better effect on women’s mental health than that of men;In terms of age,home-based aerobics has no obvious effect on mental health of 15-year-old secondary vocational students. In the aspect of the only child, the effect of aerobic exercise on the mental health of the non-only child is better than that of the only child at home, and the effect of aerobic exercise on the mental health of the only child and the non-only child is roughly the same except for the impulse tendency in the period of restarting classes. In terms of urban children, the psychological health promotion effect of aerobics courses on urban students and rural students in different periods is roughly the same.According to the conclusions, the following suggestions are put forward :(1)During the epidemic prevention and control period,we should pay more attention to the mental health of students.(2)To carry out targeted course implementation strategies for secondary vocational students’ learning anxiety, allergy tendency, physical symptoms and self-reproach tendency under epidemic prevention and control, improve teachers’ understanding of course reform under epidemic prevention and control, and establish regular training to improve online teaching ability.(3)In the event of public health emergencies,we should vigorously develop online and offline sports courses as well as related linkage courses, improve teaching implementation strategies, improve students’ autonomy and selectivity and sports participation, enhance students’ physical immunity and improve their mental health.
