With the social progress,the industrialization of the world needs a large number of professional and technical talents.In order to meet the needs of the transformation and upgrading of enterprises and social division of labor,under the background of"The Belt and Road"a series of educational policy for poverty alleviation,the policy of entering into higher vocational courses,and the state’s promotion of"craftsman spirit"and the golden reward of skills competitions,the executive session of the State Council has accelerated the development of modern vocational education and determined the specific tasks of accelerating the development of modern vocational education.The secondary vocational education has been an important part of modern education..Education in secondary school has obvious advantages and disadvantages.Attention should not only be paid to the cultivation of students’theoretical knowledge level and practical operation ability but also to the students’physical and mental health.Therefore,it is necessary to study the secondary vocational students’physical condition,dietary behavior,nutrition knowledge and the related influencing factors,and to analyze the physical characteristics and dietary behavior habits,so as to provide reliable basis for improving the physical health of the secondary vocational students.In this paper,by filling in the questionnaire,898 students from different majors at a secondary vocational and technical school in Guangzhou city were randomly selected as sample subjects,including 490 males and 408 females.The basic situation,diet and mental health states of secondary vocational students were collected by the questionnaire;In the sametime,the nutrition and hygiene knowledge,dietary attitudes,dietary habits and dietary behaviors,the correlation between physical condition,diet and living habits,dietary behaviors and mental health of secondary vocational students were analyzed.All the questionnaires were filled out by the respondents themselves.Relevant data were input into Excel software to form a database.Excel and SPSS software were used for statistical analysis.The main results are showed as follows:(1)In terms of body mass index,students with normal BMI accounted for 56.90%,while those with low BMI accounted for 36.1%.Overweight students accounted for5.6%.Obese students make up 1.4%.After X~2 test,the BMI distribution of male and female students was significantly different(P<0.01)(2)Secondary vocational school students had good knowledge of nutrition and attitude towards diet and nutrition,but they seldom applied the knowledge of nutrition to their real life,resulting in poor BMI,dietary behavior and habits,and nutrition knowledge didn’t play an important role in the"knowledge-belief-action"system.(3)Dietary behaviors have a significant impact on the physical conditions of secondary vocational students.Some students have breakfast skipping,unreasonable diet structure,picky eating,irregular diet and excessive snack consumption,etc.,which have a significant negative impact on the physical conditions of students.(4)In terms of the mood scale,from the perspective of grade,the mood dimension score of the first grade students was 5.53±2.86,and the mood score of the second grade was6.02±2.94,which was significantly higher than that of the first grade(P<0.05).From the perspective of majors,the scores of anger dimension of liberal arts students were 2.96±3.05and 3.52±3.15,which were significantly higher than those of liberal arts students(P<0.05).
