The evolution of teacher-student relationship is the inevitable development of The Times,and it is also one of the important issues in pedagogy research,which presents different characteristics in different times.At present,with the rapid development of deep learning,big data,cloud computing and other technologies,artificial intelligence has entered into human life.Among them,the technology with artificial intelligence as the core has exerted a huge impact on the field of education.To a certain extent,it has resolved the contradiction in reality of education and reconstructed the development state of education.Therefore,as the subject of educational activities,the relationship between teachers and students has also changed accordingly,and the relationship between them must be reanalyzed and positioned to meet the challenges brought by artificial intelligence to education.At different stages of technological development,the teacher-student relationship presents different characteristics.In the oral media period,teachers and students are characterized by intimacy and equality,which is the initial state of the teacher-student relationship.Later,with the emergence and application of writing and printing and the emergence of class teaching system,the teacher-student relationship began to become hierarchical and authoritative.With the development of technology and the development of audio-visual technology and media,the access of students to knowledge increases instantaneously,the authority of teachers begins to weaken,and students can complete their learning independently.In the network era,the network breaks the time and space limitation of teaching and learning,and the teacher-student relationship returns to the cooperative and equal type.However,we find that no matter how the teacher-student relationship changes with the change of technology,the nature of the teacher-student relationship will not change,that is,interpersonal interaction is the core and non-teaching relationship is stable.The teacher’s educational role is consistent;The cooperative relationship between teachers and students remains the same,and teaching and learning all the time.The reason why artificial intelligence is taken as an era background is that compared with previous technologies,the era with the background of artificial intelligence technology has significant features,such as deep learning,cross-border integration,man-machine collaboration,swarm intelligence,etc.In the era of artificial intelligence,the teacher-student relationship has changed as follows: from the perspective of teaching relationship,teachers and machines work together,and teachers and students form an intelligent learning partnership.In addition,the teaching process is learner-centered,and teachers become service-oriented teachers.From the perspective of ethical relationship,learning environment is intelligent and teacher-student interaction is virtual.From the perspective of personal relationship,students’ self-learning ability is enhanced,and the relationship between teachers and students is democratic and equal.From the perspective of emotional relationship,AI-assisted teaching provides conditions for the emotional communication between teachers and students.The era of artificial intelligence,of course,the relationship between teachers and students may also encounter some difficulties:(1)the relation between the teaching of challenges: man-machine cooperation deepens,the loss of subjectivity(2)the ethical relationship between teachers and students of the challenge:virtual teacher,played down the traditional concept of "love life" teacher(3)about the relationship between emotional challenges: the appearance of new authority,the conflicts between teachers and students(4)a challenge to personal relationships:accurate teaching makes the relationship between teachers and students towards the extreme personality.To construct the harmonious relationship between teachers and students under the age of artificial intelligence implementation path,including(1)the teachers and students their own clear positioning,(2)the relationship between the pursuit of balance and artificial intelligence technology ethics to virtue,sets up the science and technology of values(3)the pursuit of a higher level of emotional interaction between teachers and students,(4)focus on teachers and students subjectivity,construction of the inter-subjective relationship between teachers and students(5)the creation education meaning of artificial intelligence,the relationship between teachers and students to return to nature.
