Counselors are the main force in the ideological and political education of college students,the enlightenment teacher who stepped into the society,and the guide of the formation of the "three outlooks".They are the information transmitters among schools,teachers,students,and parents.The quality of the counselor team is directly Affect the overall quality of students and their development direction.Especially after the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the country has continuously changed various policies and systems of higher education,and the requirements for the construction of the faculty of colleges and universities and the cultivation of student talents have become higher and higher,and the instructors also need to make corresponding changes to improve their own work.The skills and methods of managing students ensure that they can cope with the jumping thoughts of post-95 and post-00 college students,guide them to develop excellent qualities,and gradually grow into comprehensive talents that are beneficial to society and national construction.The performance appraisal of college counselors,on the one hand,can reflect the common behaviors and individual behaviors of counselors,so that all counselors can clearly grasp their own work tasks,work responsibilities and work standards,and establish short-term and long-term work goals.,Make continuous efforts towards the goal,in order to evaluate its work effectiveness and personal quality.On the other hand,performance appraisal is the affirmation and encouragement of the work performance of the counselor.There are spiritual incentives from the school,leaders,students,etc.,which makes the counselor more confident.At the same time,the results of the performance appraisal are fed back in accordance with the process.Vertically,counselors can reflect on the exposed problems,and horizontally,they can learn good working methods and methods from excellent counselors.Finally,the overall team of counselors can improve overall quality and professional capabilities.Moreover,the establishment of a practical and effective counselor performance appraisal system in colleges and universities can further promote the development of the work level of counselors in the "three specialization" direction required by the state and optimize the team of counselors.This thesis takes S College of a private university of H Group as an example.Based on the actual situation of the college,the work experience of counselors,the job responsibilities of counselors of S College,the characteristics of positions and the characteristics of students,the in-depth summary is made through statistical analysis of questionnaires and interviews.For the existing problems,the 360-degree assessment method and KPI method are used to reset the assessment subject,assessment indicators and weights,and finally safeguard countermeasures are put forward to ensure the scientific operation of the performance assessment system.Optimizing the performance appraisal system can not only improve the motivation of university human resource management for counselors,but also improve the quality of the entire school’s teachers.It also provides theoretical and practical reference for the specific implementation and improvement of the performance appraisal system for other private colleges and universities.
