The Research On The Social Exclusion In The Use Of Mobile Payment For The Elderly

China is in the process of social aging and informatization,and the fragile digital literacy of the elderly is facing the challenge of the rapid development of intelligent technology.Mobile payment is the smart carrier of the digital society.The use of mobile payment is a new form of media use,as well as a social participation activity.The complex relationship between the elderly and smart media makes mobile payment a social exclusion,evolving on the mobile side of the Internet New field.This research conducted a qualitative study on the topic of mobile payment use and social exclusion among the elderly,and selected interviewees to conduct interviews with regard to the relevant dimensions of mobile payment and social exclusion.First,summarize the characteristics and current situation of the mobile payment use of the elderly: the overall mobile payment application access rate of the elderly is far lower than that of the youth.On the one hand,the penetration of technology to the elderly is slow,and on the other hand,the elderly are already behind the information process of the times.This awkward status quo also indirectly breeds the soil for social exclusion;secondly,from the three dimensions of technology,spirit,and society,a clear restoration of the daily manifestations of social exclusion in the use of mobile payments by the elderly is carried out;then based on the performance of exclusion,the reasons for social exclusion are analyzed from the three aspects of digital resources,status changes,and participation.In-depth analysis;finally,based on the research findings,put forward a systematic solution to how to resolve rejection.Research has found that the social exclusion in the use of mobile payment by the elderly is mainly reflected in the "digital divide" in the technological dimension,social pressure in the spiritual dimension,and the decline of power in the social dimension.The reasons for this exclusion are: the limitation of digital resources,the marginalization of social life,and the lack and insufficiency of social participation.To eliminate or resolve exclusion,society,families,and terminal platforms need to cooperate with each other.Through social support,community assistance,internal "digital feeding" within the family,and the transformation of aging terminals,the social exclusion of mobile payments by the elderly is addressed.Guidance and relief.
