Perseverance is one of the important components of individual self-control ability. It is a process in which individuals can not give up and try many times to eliminate interference and achieve success when they encounter difficulties beyond the scope of their ability.Children naturally like to imitate, often around the teacher, parents, children as their own imitation of the object of learning. Therefore, this paper uses experimental method and action research method to explore the influence of different dimensions of model demonstration on children’s persistence in the face of difficulties, and statistically analyzes the model demonstration that has the most significant influence on children. Then, based on the results of experimental research, action research is designed and carried out in kindergartens by combining the example demonstration education with one-day kindergarten activities,so as to provide operable educational suggestions for promoting children’s persistence development.Part Ⅰ: Introduction. This paper mainly expounds the reason of selecting the topic, the definition of relevant concepts and the significance of selecting the topic.Part Ⅱ: Experimental study. The experiment method was used to explore the influence of different dimensions of role models on the duration of children’s attempts in the face of difficulties. The experimental subjects were 120 randomly selected large class children, and the independent variables were the teachers’ model demonstration, which were: the teachers succeeded after efforts, the teachers failed after efforts, the teachers succeeded without efforts, and the teachers did nothing; The dependent variable is the time that children insist on trying when facing the same difficulty. After the end of the experiment, the experimental data were counted, sorted out and analyzed to draw experimental conclusions, which provided theoretical basis for the development of action research. The third part: action research. The researcher, the cooperative teacher and the instructor decided to carry out a three-stage action research through consultation. The first stage of the research is the exploration and discovery stage, the main purpose of which is to cultivate children’s basic perception of persistence and interest in persistence. The second stage of the study is to adjust the practice stage, the main purpose is to deepen children’s understanding of persistence, feel the joy of success; The third stage of the study is the stage of innovation and expansion, the main purpose is to enhance the difficulty of activities, further cultivate children to insist on trying in the face of difficulties, and promote the further development of children’s endurance and persistence. This study hopes to explore kindergarten activities with the theme of "insisting on education" through the development of action research. The fourth part: conclusion and educational suggestion. The results of the 15-month study were as follows: First, positive and positive role models(teachers, peers)had the most significant effect on the duration of children’s attempts in the face of difficulties;Secondly, the content of the activity should be selected to guide children to develop their ability of persistence on the basis of existing experience. Finally,it is important to promote the development of children’s persistence ability in activities, but teachers should also pay attention to children’s understanding of the concept of persistence and internalize the meaning of persistence. It is the overall educational goal to cultivate children to persist in trying when facing difficulties. The fifth part: the deficiencies and prospects of this study.Shortcomings: the selected research object is the traditional public kindergarten, the combination of kindergarten one-day activity is more traditional, and the research on some new education methods is insufficient;Affected by the actual conditions, some activities are not implemented as planned, such as parent-child activities, scientific activities, etc.;Due to the influence of time and manpower factors, the experimental research subjects are relatively small, which affects the persuasiveness and credibility of this study to a certain extent.Outlook: In terms of experimental research objects, this study selected 120 large class children, and all the subjects were from the same kindergarten. It is hoped that other researchers can expand the number of subjects, increase the diversity of the areas under study, and enhance the scientific nature of the research results. The main research methods adopted in this study are experimental and action research methods. However, educational research methods are not limited to this.It is hoped that other researchers can use a variety of research methods to explore the relationship between model education and children’s persistence. The results of this study are limited to children’s actions, and it is hoped that other researchers can further explore children’s abstract understanding and thinking of persistence.
