The era of intelligence will bring great challenges to education,urging education and teaching reforms.In the 21 st century of knowledge explosion,people’s access to knowledge is becoming more and more diversified.In addition to the traditional teacher teaching,book reading,Internet,life practice,comprehensive learning and other ways have become more and more important ways for people to acquire knowledge.The development of science and technology has brought us a lot of information and resources,and high technology equipments have been gradually improved.Human beings are gradually entering the age of intelligence,it will be more and more difficult for students to adapt to the requirements of the intelligent age for comprehensive quality talents if they have only shallow knowledge,limited ability,or only a narrow knowledge confined in textbooks,passively absorb the dead knowledge that cannot be used flexibly in the face of practical problems.This paper explores the new teaching reform of combining science education with modern electronic technology to carry out extracurricular scientific and technological activities,and integrates students’ comprehensive knowledge learning,comprehensive ability training,upward emotional stimulation,and social responsibility into the popular science micro-video production activities.In the thesis,a systematic survey of the domestic and foreign research literature related to extracurricular scientific and technological activities and popular science micro-video used in teaching,and sorts out the development status of extracurricular scientific and technological activities and popular science micro-video was conducted.Based on constructivism,humanism,cooperative learning theory,and pyramid theory,we design popular science micro-video production activities,including activity themes,objects,goals,materials,content,design principles and activity effects.Three projects for the popular science micro-video production activities were designed with gradually difficult levels and different goals.The first one is “ In the World of Microbiology”,which aims to cultivate students’ data research,organization,editing and video production capabilities.Through activities such as data collection,editing,dubbing,and soundtracking,students not only learn the basic knowledge,technology of modern digital film and television production,but also improve the abilities of information research and editing,and broaden their scientific knowledge horizon.There are seven kinds of microorganisms,including bacteria,fungi,actinomycetes,chlamydia,spirochetes,rickettsia,and viruses.The interesting and vivid animation presents different types,forms and characteristics of microorganisms.Human beings are closely related with microorganisms,and enhance the awareness of cherishing and protecting life.The second one is “The Magical and Invisible Power”,which combines the knowledge of friction in the class with the extracurricular practical experience to carry out extracurricular practical activities,and conduct popular science micro-video shooting and production.The project integrates interesting storytelling and life-oriented plots into the students’ practical experience,which contributes students to understand abstract knowledge,strengthens the connection between scientific knowledge and students’ practical experience,and improves students’ curiosity and passion for exploration of the world.The third one is “Cultivation” of sentiment,which is a practical activity that combines technology and culture,school and society.Through popular science micro-video production activities and experiencing the production process of local traditional products of Zhangyao ceramics,not only can students learn relevant local culture,social knowledge and ceramic science knowledge,but also can cultivate students’ sense of social responsibility and enhance their sense of national pride,strengthen the connection with modern technology and traditional culture.Integration of modern science and technology and popular science micro-video production to carry out extracurricular scientific and technological practice activities brought several benefits that can be listed as follows.First,it is helpful to broaden students’ scientific knowledge,master the basic knowledge and skills of modern digital film and television production,and strengthen the connection between students and modern technology.Second,it is beneficial to cultivate students’ various abilities and to prepare for the cultivation of talents with interdisciplinary knowledge,innovative spirit and scientific thinking in the intelligent age.Third,it is conducive to enhance students’ subjective consciousness and stimulate learning autonomy.
