With the rapid development of science and technology and the increasingly fierce competition among countries,governments of all countries are paying more attention to the cultivation of scientific and technological innovation talents.The cultivation of young people's scientific quality is directly related to the future level of science and technology in our country.< Outline of National Action Scheme of Scientific Literacy for All Chinese Citizens(2006-2010-2020)> promulgated by the State Council calls for vigorously developing the scientific literacy cultivation of young students.In the 13 th Five-Year Plan,it is proposed that education in our country should pay attention to the cultivation of scientific literacy of primary and secondary school students,and scientific and technological activities are a new way to cultivate students' scientific literacy.Scientific and technological activities are an important carrier for the cultivation of young people's scientific literacy.At present,there are few related researches on the relationship between scientific and technological activities and the scientific literacy of primary and secondary school students,and there is no empirical research.Therefore,this thesis chooses the influence of scientific and technological activities on the scientific literacy of primary and secondary school students as the research direction for empirical research.This study randomly selected students from 98 primary and secondary schools in22 cities in seven regions of north China,central China,east China,south China,northeast China,northwest China and southwest China.3604 questionnaires were collected from primary schools,including 2503 valid questionnaires,4860 from middle schools,including 2815 valid questionnaires,and 5756 from high schools,including 3866 valid questionnaires.Questionnaire to understand the status of science and technology activities in various regions of China,the level of students' science quality and the correlation between them.The first part of the questionnaire investigates the development of scientific and technological activities.The second part sets a proposition dimension to test the scientific quality level of primary and secondary school students by referring to the Chinese citizens' scientific quality standards.The information collected in the two parts is combined to analyze the impact of scientific and technological activities on the scientific quality of primary and secondary school students.Through this investigation,it is found that :(1)the national science and technology activities of various types and high school students scientific quality score,scientific quality there is no correlation between six dimensions(p values are less than 0.2),primary school and junior high school and high school,the reason may be that no matter what type of science and technology activities contribute to the promotion of primary and middle schoolstudents' scientific quality,also may be linked to quality scientific questionnaire topic subject sex strong,there is no more accurately detect the level of students' scientific quality.(2)the correlation between the types of science and technology activities in different districts and the students' scientific quality:(1)there is a correlation between the types of science and technology activities in south China and southwest districts and the students' scientific quality.South China area youth scientific investigation,extracurricular experiment,youth science and technology innovation,little scientists,science and technology museum activities,science report tomorrow practice class,science festival week of science and technology,scientific inquiry,technology comprehensive competition and scientific studies these 10 kinds of science and technology activities,and the dimension of scientific knowledge,scientific thought and scientific quality has the correlation between total score(p values were greater than 0.2).Among them,there was a significant correlation between scientific knowledge and youth science survey,science festival and science week(p>,0.4).There was a certain correlation between the scientific and technological activities of youth science and technology innovation and science festival and science week in southwest region and the dimension of scientific knowledge(p >,0.2).There is a correlation between the types of science and technology activities in north China,east China,central China and northwest China and the scores of junior high school students' science quality.Which the technology comprehensive competition of north China area and scientific thought correlation(p > 0.2),the east China area of science and technology museum activities,scientific studies two kinds of science and technology activities and the correlation coefficient of scientific knowledge exist significant correlation(p = 0.66),the central area of science inquiry correlation practice activities of science and technology and the scientific method,northwest area subject racing etc activities associated with scientific knowledge of science and technology(p > 0.2);There are different degrees of correlation between the types of science and technology activities in east China,central China and northwest China and the scientific quality of high school students.East China area of chemistry contest and science knowledge,science festival week of science and technology and science have correlation between quality score,central China area correlation between maths and science knowledge,science festival of science and technology week with students' scientific knowledge,scientific method and scientific quality scores are correlation(p > 0.2),and the science festival week of science and technology and scientific quality correlation between total score(p = 0.46).There was a correlation between the mathematics competition,biology competition,discipline competition,science festival and science week and scientific knowledge in the northwest region,and the science festival and science week were also correlated with the total score of scientific method and scientific quality(p >,0.2).(3)there was no correlation between the types of scientific and technological activities in different areas and the dimensions of scientific quality,scientific spirit,solving practical problems and participating in public affairs(all p values were less than 0.2),which may be because the paper-and-pencil test could not truly measure these dimensions.Based on the survey results and analysis of relevant literature,the problems existing in the development of scientific and technological activities and the cultivation of scientific literacy are put forward.In order to improve the current situation of scientific and technological activities and improve the scientific literacy of students,the corresponding countermeasures are analyzed:(1)to clarify the status of scientific and technological activities and to understand the value of scientific and technological activities;(2)to ensure the quality of scientific and technological activities and give full play to their maximum effect;(3)rectify the view of achievements in scientific and technological activities,not only the competition achievements;(4)shorten the regional resource gap and organize activities according to local conditions;(5)each organization shall share out the work and cooperate with one another,and set up a standardized mechanism in the school;(6)increase investment in science and technology and improve the utilization rate of scientific and technological venues;(7)to form a team of teachers for scientific and technological activities and to optimize the quality of the teaching staff;(8)schools,families and society are integrated to improve the scientific literacy of teenagers.
