With the continuous development of globalization and industrialization,professional competence evaluation has gradually become an important tool for quality assurance and quality improvement of vocational education recognized at home and abroad.Under new situations and circumstances,traditional skills training and evaluation cannot meet the requirements for the training and selection of skilled talents.In the long run,the development of " vocational competence evaluation " has become a nature trend.COMET evaluation technology has many advantages.On the one hand,it can provide technical and empirical basis for comprehensive and scientific evaluation of students’ professional ability,and students correctly position their professional ability to meet their sustainable development and lifelong development requirements.On the other hand,it can provide good tools for the establishment of teaching diagnosis system,improvement mechanism and vocational education quality assurance system.COMET evaluation technology has been applied in electrical,auto repair,environmental protection,and nursing majors,and has achieved remarkable results.So far,most of the test projects are related to higher vocational education,and the computer field of secondary vocational education is not involved,so it is difficult to develop independently.The purpose of this article is to develop an evaluation system that is in line with secondary vocational computer majors,to solve the problem of vacancies in the field of COMET professional ability assessment,Based on the mature COMET vocational competence evaluation model,this study has compiled a professional competence evaluation questionnaire suitable for secondary vocational computer majors.It will develop computer professional open test questions and conduct reliability and validity testing.Through the evaluation of the graduates of the computer major of secondary vocational schools,and extract a lot of empirical data from the evaluation results.Research and analysis will determine the level of capacity development from both qualitative and quantitative aspects.Based on the COMET vocational competence evaluation model,this study has compiled a professional competence evaluation questionnaire suitable for secondary vocational computer majors.By identifying typical work tasks,developing test questions that meet the characteristics of the computer profession,describing the problem-solving space,and passing the steps of rater training,rater consistency,reliability and validity testing,COMET evaluation plan covering eight ability indicators and three ability levels is established to effectively reflect the various ability indicators of students.On this basis,students who graduated from the computer major of secondary vocational schools are selected as the empirical objects to conduct vocational competence evaluation.Through the analysis and discussion of the evaluation results,evaluate the professional ability level of the testees,draw their profile maps,and draw conclusions through the empirical analysis.The vocational competence model established by the COMET evaluation technology is scientific and reliable,the division of the three competence levels is in line with the rules of vocational competence evaluation,and The testee’ s ability level is in line with the actual ability.At the same time,it summarizes the test results of COMET evaluation technology and the problems encountered during the test,and proposes suggestions to improve students’ professional ability accordingly.
