| In recent years,the problem of college students’ mental health has become more and more prominent in our country.How to improve the psychological quality of college students and properly prevent the occurrence of campus psychological crisis has become the top priority in college psychological health education.With the increasing demand of psychological counseling for college students,the coverage of mental health educators in colleges and universities is gradually insufficient.Therefore,almost all colleges and universities have set up the post of " psychological committee members " to assist mental health educators to solve the psychological problems of college students.Psychological committee members in charge is an important part of peer counseling and a bridge and important supplement in college mental health education system.The cultivation of psychological commissaries plays an important role in supporting the growth of college students.Among them,excellent empathy is one of the necessary conditions for psychiatrists to establish a good relationship with visitors,which is considered to be the most critical characteristic affecting the counseling process and effect.It is also the core ability and important quality that psychological committee members need to have.However,according to the author’s previous observations and interviews,the current training form for psychological committee members in colleges is relatively simple,the training period is short,and the pertinence is not strong enough,which makes it difficult for the psychological committee members to grasp good empathy ability to carry out work.In addition,the domestic research on the training of empathy ability of psychological committee members is still in the exploratory stage,with more theoretical research and relatively weak empirical research,and lack of in-depth research on the training of professional ability of psychological committee members.Therefore,in view of this phenomenon,the author adopts the way of combining theory and practice to carry out the research.In the early stage of this study,three psychological commissioners from G university were taken as the interviewees to investigate and analyze the current reality of psychological commissioners in colleges and universities,and analyze their cognition of their role positioning and ability.By using the scale as a tool,the empathy ability of psychological committee members was measured,which laid a theoretical foundation for the research of social work involving in the improvement of empathy ability of psychological committee members in colleges and universities.Then,the group work method was used to carry out practical intervention,and seven capacity improvement teams were carried out for the psychological committee members with insufficient empathy ability to help them improve their empathy ability and better assume the responsibilities of the psychological committee members.The results show that the group members’ ability of empathy has been significantly improved,the group activity program developed in this study is of extensibility,and the group work method is applicable to the training of college psychological committee members,which has a significant effect on the improvement of the ability of empathy.In addition,professional social workers are proficient in empathy theory,social learning theory and group work method.It is an ideal reform attempt to introduce more social workers into the mental health education system in colleges and universities. |
