This study analyses Lead climbing training methods by experiments supported by literatures, experimentations, logical analysis, mathematical statistics and experts interviews.Comparing with the data taken before and after the experiments,12 members of the university climbing team were trained for 4 weeks, the conclusions of this study are shown as followed:(1)After the experiment, the finger strength and finger endurance were significantly improved in the experimental group.(2)After the experiment, the upper limb strength of the experimental group improved significantly.(3)After the experiment, the members of the experimental group improved their ranking in the intrateam competition.(4)It is particularly important to include specific training in the training methods of difficulty events in lead climbing, including finger strength training, endurance climbing training, pull up training, core and leg strength training.According to princioles of sports training and through to the correlation literature research to analysis the Lead climbing in such specific training methods.Sport Climbing,in general,is included three events: Lead climbing,Speed climbing and Bouldering. In this research, the originally aims at analyzing and tracking the high-leveled athletes in Lead climbing with supporting by overseas journals and researches, and so concluding the best training methods for Lead climbing. The main training methods used in this research include fingers strength and endurance training, climbing endurance training, upper body strength, core strength and legs strength training.According to overseas analyses, gaining 10-20% improvement in climbing within 4 weeks is the most effective way.The total experimental period will be set in4 weeks with comparing experiment group and controlled group. All participants including both experiment group and controlled group are picked randomly, had an internal ranking Lead climbing competition and had a pre-experiment specific training test as stated above. The subject of the experiment are members of the university climbing team.A post-experiment test and internal competition are repeated after 4 weeks so as to evaluate the success results in Lead climbing in such specific training methods.
