The degree of work input of rural teachers,which has important impact on both the growth of students and the quality of rural education.In recent years,the Party Central Committee,the State Council and the Ministry of Education have attached great importance to the construction of teachers in rural schools,and have successively issued a series of policies and regulations to reform normal education.More and more attention,that from the society,has been given to the rural teachers.Since that,the social status and salary of them have also been improved accordingly.However,the working environment,economic treatment and social status of rural teachers are still not satisfactory.Especially the rural teachers not only are faced with increasing expectations and requirements of our society,but also work input and output are not proportional.All those led to many young graduates are unwilling to choose rural education as their career.Even those "post-90s"teachers who have been employed for many years still have the idea of abandoning education and pursuing business and politics.These have greatly affected the work input of rural teachers,who was born in the 1990s,and restricted the improvement of rural teachers’ sense of self-efficacy.If this situation cannot be changed in time,it will inevitably hinder the sustainable and healthy development of rural education and add chasm to the balanced development of urban and rural education.Former studies have found that there is a close relationship between teaching efficacy and work engagement.Although the current academic research on the relationship between teachers’ teaching efficacy and work engagement is relatively abundant,there is still a lack of research on the relationship between teachers’ self-efficacy and work engagement in rural schools born in the 1990s.As the new force of the rural teachers,the "post-90s" teachers have not received attention for their living conditions and work motivation.Therefore,this research is based on the theory of self-efficacy and job matching theory,and took D County of Zhoukou as the survey object.Through in-depth exploration of the relationship between the teaching efficacy of rural "post-90s" teachers and their work commitment,it is stable these teachers,born in 1990s,have contributed to improving the quality of rural school education and promoting the sustainable development of rural education.In this paper,through a questionnaire survey of 228 rural teachers in five junior high schools in County D and statistical analysis of variance and correlation among the results of the questionnaire,the following research results are obtained:1.The teaching efficacy and job involvement of rural teachers,who was born in 1990s,are generally at the upper-middle level,indicating that rural junior high school teachers in D County,Zhoukou are in a good working condition;2.There are significant differences in the teaching efficacy of rural teachers,who was born in 1990s,in terms of gender,marriage,age,teaching age,educational background and income level,but the differences in professional titles are not obvious;3.There are significant differences in the level of job involvement of the teachers born in 1990s in rural areas in terms of age,professional title,teaching experience,and income level,but the differences in gender and marriage are not obvious;3.The teaching efficacy of rural teachers born in 1990s is generally lower than teachers who wasn’t born in 1990s,but the overall level of work engagement of rural teachers born in 1990s is slightly higher than teachers who wasn’t born in 1990s.4.There is a significant positive correlation between the teaching efficacy and job involvement of rural teachers born in 1990s,and the former has a positive predictive effect on the latter.which means,the rural teachers born in 1990s who has higher teaching efficacy,their job involvement would be in higher degree.The former variable has strong correlation with last variable.Meanwhile,there is both correlation and independence between the two variables.
