The teachers'efficacy based on the self-efficacy theoryis teacher's judgment of his personal ability and implementbebaviors through with a special goal is attainted. The theoryon teachers'efficacy is very popular among researchersinterested in teachers'education. A lot of research hasindicated that teachers'efficacy is a kernel variable toteachers'mentality,as well as a key factor associated withteacher's behavior an concept.On the basis of research on teachers'self efficacy, peoplefound that teachers'collective efficacy was also quiteimpotant, which has the teachers'competency andstudents'acdamic achievement, etc. Teachers'collectiveefficacy is a attribute which appears on the collectivelevel, and this new attribute is oversteps the summationattributes of all individual attributes. It is the productionduring the interaction couse among the teacher members.This study reviews collective efficacy systematically andclarifies the transformation of self-efficay from theindividual to the collective concept. Then, it summarized thetheory of collective teacher efficacy, including its definition, tormationd and measurement. At last, taking 500teachers in the rural middle school in Changde and Yongzhou assubject. The revised Collective Teacher Efficacy Scale asmeasuring instrument. At same time, we chose Sense ofTeachers'Efficacy Inventory, The Achievement Motivation andTeachers'Teaching Strategy Questionnaire. The reseachindicated that:1. There was significant difference among subjects inteachers'collective efficacy and self efficacy in ruralmiddle school. The significant efficacy also existed among ageand schoole age groups in teachers'collective efficacy.2. The teachers'collective efficacy and self efficacy weresignificantly correlated with each other in rural middleschoole.3. The teachers'collective efficacy, self efficacy andteachers'achievement motivation were significantlycorrelated with each other in rural middle schoole.4. The teachers'collective efficacy, self efficacy,teachers'achievement motivation and teachers'teachingstrategy were significantly correlated with eachother in ruralmiddle schoole, and its embodied on motivation and directionstrategy. 5. As for teachers'collcetive efficacy's influence onteachers'teaching stratey, the teachers'self efficacy andteachers'achievement are impotant intermediary factor.
