The emergence of STEAM education has broken the traditional teaching ideas and learning methods which take books and classroom as the center.STEAM covers many subjects such as science,technology,engineering,art and mathematics.It integrates independent and scattered interdisciplinary knowledge in the way of project-based teaching,thus forming a more complete knowledge system.At present,STEAM education in China is carried out by means of community activities or subject teaching integration,but most of them are in accordance with the existing curriculum development mode,which does not reflect the characteristics of STEAM education.Therefore,it is particularly important to study the STEAM teaching development mode.Based on the scientific and technological innovation curriculum of the school where the author works,this study takes the students in the lower primary school as the research object,according to the concept of STEAM education and project-based teaching,takes the magic bubble show course of grade three as an example,designs the STEAM teaching case of project-based learning,and applies it to classroom practice to explore the influence of STEAM education on the development of students’ core literacy,and strive to be able to teach Teachers’ teaching provides some reference and reference.In order to understand the current situation of STEAM teaching,the author conducted interviews and questionnaire survey on teachers and students of science and technology innovation course in my school by consulting relevant literature.In order to improve the existing problems in teaching,such as the single teaching model and the weakness of teachers,the author analyzes and summarizes the design basis,design principles and teaching implementation strategies of project-based STEAM education and teaching mode SDA mode and teaching implementation process,constructs the teaching framework and carries out teaching practice for one semester.Finally,two specific teaching cases of "bubble shape" and "drawing with bubbles" are used to illustrate the project-based STEAM teaching design.Before and after teaching practice,the author conducted a questionnaire survey on students and analyzed the teaching experimental data.The experimental results show that project-based STEAM teaching is helpful to the cultivation of students’ learning attitude,learning ability,hands-on ability and scientific spirit,as well as the cultivation of students’ core literacy.
