| STEAM is a comprehensive and interdisciplinary educational philosophy that emphasizes students’ application of multidisciplinary knowledge such as science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics to analyze and solve problems, and realize the unity of knowledge and action.Existing studies have shown that project-based teaching is an effective mode to implement the STEAM education concept, and "Zero Carbon Hut" contains rich knowledge of science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics.Firstly, the paper sorts out the relevant literature of STEAM project-based teaching and activity courses, sorts out the research and development status of STEAM education and "zerocarbon hut" at home and abroad, analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of existing STEAM project-based courses, and clarifies the development principles and modes of STEAM projectbased teaching.Secondly, combined with the principles of STEAM project-based teaching development, starting from four aspects, such as student analysis, activity goal analysis, activity process analysis, and teaching activity design, the teaching cases of "Zero Carbon Hut(Beginner)","Zero Carbon Hut(Intermediate Level)" and "Zero Carbon Hut(Advanced)" were designed, and the evaluation plan and student activity manual of "Zero Carbon Hut" project teaching were designed based on STEAM project-based teaching cases and project activity objectives. Finally, based on the case design and student activity manual, the author adopted the teaching plan of "Zero Carbon Cabin(Intermediate)" to conduct project-based teaching practice for students in the first semester of the ninth grade of junior high school. From the perspective of the teaching practice of the "Zero Carbon Cabin(Intermediate)" project, the teaching activities of the project can improve students’ enthusiasm for learning physics, cultivate students’ awareness of using interdisciplinary knowledge to solve practical problems, and play a positive role in promoting students’ core literacy and the development of cross-scientific thinking. |
