| Counselors are the lights that light their way,the best friends and mentors for students to live a healthy life. Some college counselors are prone to negative emotions due to the complicated tasks and low salary, which is especially obvious in the case of private college counselors.College counselors do not have clear responsibilities and division of labor in their work, and some of their work often lacks social recognition, resulting in a low sense of accomplishment. At the same time, some of the counselors in private universities have low academic qualifications and are not competent enough to meet the growing needs of student work.In particular, the different characteristics of students in private colleges and universities have higher requirements for counselors. These factors will make counselors physically and psychologically appear "role pressure"and "job burnout" and other manifestations, which will seriously affect the normal development of college students, but also become an obstacle on the road to healthy development of college students, this situation. It also affects the harmonious atmosphere of internal unity among counselors and hinders their team development and work efficiency. This paper takes psychological theory as the research perspective, organizational commitment as the independent variable, role pressure as the dependent variable, and job burnout as the mediating variable, selected several large-scale representative private universities in Wuhan to conduct a questionnaire survey, and derived the relationship between role pressure, job burnout, and organizational commitment of counselors in private universities, and proposed corresponding measures based on this basis, hoping to reduce the role pressure of counselors in private universities. The results of this study show that(1)the role pressure and job burnout of counselors in private colleges and universities are higher than the medium level and the organizational commitment is lower than the medium level. The results show that:(1)role pressure and job burnout of counselors in private colleges and universities are higher than the moderate level, and organizational commitment is lower than the moderate level;(2)there are significant differences in job burnout and organizational commitment among counselors in private colleges and universities in different school regions;(3)role pressure has a significant negative impact on organizational commitment but it has a positive effect on job burnout, and organizational commitment has a significant negative impact on job burnout. So I think organizational commitment plays a mediating role between role pressure and job burnout. The results of this study reveal the relationship between role pressure, organizational commitment and job burnout, which can provide reference for reducing job burnout. |
