Exercise has a positive regulatory effect on emotion.When mild emotional distress occurs in study and life,it can be alleviated by participating in sports.Tennis is popular among college students because of its fitness and popularity.Tennis elective course in Colleges and universities can improve students’ emotional state and physical quality.However,restricted by the high difficulty of entry,the high requirements of venues and facilities,and the scarcity of professional teachers,college students like to play tennis,but they don’t like tennis lessons.The unique teaching concept of "Play&Stay tennis" makes the beginners happy While learning tennis skills,scholars should improve college students’ interest in sports and improve their mental health.Purpose:through the use of "Play&Stay tennis" in college tennis elective course teaching,this paper specifically explores the differences in tennis skills and changes in emotional state between "Play&Stay tennis" teaching and traditional tennis teaching,so as to promote the popularization and development of "fast and easy tennis" in College tennis elective course,It provides reference for the theory and practice of tennis teaching in Colleges and universities.Methods : Using the methods of literature review,questionnaire survey,experiment,mathematical statistics and logical analysis,this study randomly selected60 tennis students of grade 2020 in Nanning Normal University as the experimental subjects,with 30 students in the control group and the experimental group,the experimental group used "Play&Stay tennis" for teaching,and the control group used traditional tennis teaching for 16 weeks.The emotional state and tennis skills of the experimental group and the control group were tested,and the differences between the two groups were analyzed by paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test.Results:1.Before the experiment,there was no significant difference in the emotional state between the experimental group and the control group(P>0.05);after the experiment,there were significant differences in the "fatigue","depression" and the total score of emotional state between the two groups(P<0.05);there was no significant difference in the "tension","anger","panic","energy" and "self-esteem" between the two groups(P>0.05)There were significant differences in the scores of "fatigue","energy","self-esteem" and emotional state before and after the experiment(P<0.05),but there were no significant differences in the scores of "tension","anger","depression" and "panic"(P>0.05);there were significant differences in the scores of "self-esteem" and emotional state before and after the experiment in the control group(P<0.05)There was no significant difference(P>0.05).2.There was significant difference between the experimental group and the control group(p<0.05)in the male,female backhand and turn index in the post-experiment tennis skill test;there was no significant difference between the male,female forehand and low-handed serve group(p>0.05).3.Compared with the control group,boys and girls had significant difference in forehand batting(P<0.05),and the control group had higher results than the experimental group;Boys in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05);Both boys and girls had no significant difference in tennis backhand batting,hand serve and girls’ turn skills(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.Compared with the traditional tennis teaching,"Play&Stay tennis" teaching is more conducive to the change of public sports college students’ emotional state to the positive aspect.In the profile of mood state scale,the values of "fatigue","depression" and "total score of emotional state" have decreased significantly.2."Play&Stay tennis" teaching and traditional tennis teaching can effectively improve the tennis skills of beginners,but "Play&Stay tennis" teaching is more conducive to the improvement of students’ backhand skills and actual combat ability than traditional tennis teaching.The combination of "Play&Stay tennis" teaching and traditional tennis teaching can promote the comprehensive development of students’ tennis skills.3.The unique teaching method of "Play&Stay tennis" improves students’ learning mood,and the improvement of positive mood also plays a role in promoting tennis skills learning.
