With the rapid development of the market economy,colleges and universities have continued to expand enrollment for many years,resulting in college graduates becoming a group of social groups with high total volume and low employment after graduation,which has added a lot of resistance to the employment of college students.There is a special group in colleges and universities,which are high-level athletes recruited by colleges and universities through methods such as recruiting special talents and colleges’ independent enrollment.High-level athletes are of positive significance for improving the talent structure of colleges and universities,leading college sports activities,improving the sports standards of colleges and universities,and improving the sports concepts of teachers and students.On the other hand,as a special group of high-level athletes,their competitive sports skills Training,cultural education,employment,and other links are great challenges for colleges and universities,and there are many problems.The employment of high-level athletes in colleges and universities has also been widely concerned by the society.The thesis takes the high-level athletes of Harbin from 2017 to 2019 as the research object.Study their employment-related situation after graduation.Starting with Schultz’s human capital theory,Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory,and Keynes’ employment theory as the guiding theories,using literature methods,questionnaire surveys and other methods,from the overall employment rate and employment of high-level athletes in Harbin colleges and universities after graduation Analyze the basic status and employment situation of high-level athletes in Harbin colleges and universities in terms of regions,employment units and employment psychology,etc.,and gain insights into the current high-level athletes in Harbin colleges and universities through the perspectives of employment status and employment intentions of high-level athletes in Harbin colleges and universities According to the real situation,it is concluded that the employment of high-level athletes is affected by the lack of employment knowledge,the narrow working environment for employment choices,the insufficient preparation for employment,and the need to improve the professional capabilities of high-level athletes.We are learning from the employment experience of domestic and foreign athletes.On the basis of this,it puts forward relevant countermeasures to improve the training and management mechanism of colleges and universities,broaden the employment options of high-level athletes in colleges and universities,establish correct employment expectations,and improve the cultural knowledge and professional skills of high-level athletes.
