The moral authority of teachers is the core force to maintain the order of moral education activities and the important guarantee for the smooth progress of moral education activities.Without the moral authority of teachers,moral education activities cannot be carried out smoothly.The research on the moral authority of teachers has always been an important part of education research.The 21 st century is an age of information and intelligence.As an important technical force in the fourth industrial revolution,artificial intelligence is developing rapidly with an irresistible trend,causing cultural diversity,value dispersion and changes in people’s access to knowledge and information.As a result,people’s production,living and learning methods are constantly changing,and human beings have stepped into the era of artificial intelligence.The penetration of artificial intelligence into various fields of human society is increasing in breadth and depth,and its application in the field of education is becoming more and more promising.Under the influence of artificial intelligence,moral education is developing towards a more digital,intelligent and modern direction,and the traditional educational environment,moral education mode and teacher-student relationship are also changing.While enabling moral education,technical intelligence has also greatly impacted the authority of teachers and led to the change of the structure of teachers’ moral authority.In this context,the moral authority of teachers should adapt to the development of The Times,and turn to individualization and differentiation in the form of expression,equality in the thinking concept,wisdom and intelligence in the way and means,combination of reality and reality in the environment carrier,so as to rebuild the moral authority with the characteristics of the era of artificial intelligence.This paper adopts historical research method,literature research method and comparative research method.Based on the definition of teacher moral authority,this paper takes the loss of teacher moral authority as the clue to explore the construction path of teacher moral authority in the era of artificial intelligence.This paper is divided into five parts to discuss teachers’ moral authority in the era of artificial intelligence.The first part describes the origin of this research,and on the basis of combing the previous studies on this issue,proposes two problems to be solved in this paper:one is what is the meaning of teachers’ moral authority in the era of artificial intelligence,and what is its particularity;The second is how to reshape teachers’ moral authority in the era of artificial intelligence,that is,what is the specific path to construct teachers’ moral authority in the era of artificial intelligence.The second part clarifies the connotation of teacher moral authority on the basis of the concepts of teacher authority and moral authority,Outlines the classification and characteristics of teacher moral authority,sorts out the historical changes of teacher moral authority,and discusses the basic characteristics of teacher moral authority in the era of artificial intelligence.The third part discusses the necessity and feasibility of the reconstruction of teachers’ moral authority in the era of artificial intelligence,highlighting the necessity of the reconstruction of teachers’ moral authority in the era of artificial intelligence from three aspects of society,students and education,and clarifying the feasibility of the reconstruction of teachers’ moral authority in the era of artificial intelligence from two aspects of theoretical basis and technical conditions.The fourth part expounds the reasons and manifestations of the loss of teachers’ moral authority from three aspects: the reduction of the "linguistic power" of teachers’ moral instruction,the absence of the "context" of teachers’ moral instruction and the decline of teachers’ moral appeal,which lays the groundwork for the reconstruction of teachers’ moral authority in the era of artificial intelligence.The fifth part discusses the reconstruction of teachers’ moral authority in the era of artificial intelligence.In order to reshape teachers’ moral authority in the era of artificial intelligence,we should replace "leading authority" with "guiding authority" to shape teachers’ traditional moral authority;change from "absolute authority" to "authority identification",to defend teachers’ legal-rational moral authority;strengthen the consciousness of teachers’ role to rebuild the inspiring teachers’ moral authority.
