"Education first,moral education ahead",stating that strengthening the moral cultivation of pupils is the key in basic education,and it is also an essential condition to the healthy growth of pupils.With the significance attached by the state and schools to the reform of educational modes,more and more students began to leave classrooms,go out of campus and go into museums to study.Encountered with the constraints and bottlenecks in moral education in schools,the informal learning environment such as museums has become an effective supplementary means with its unique advantages,rich learning resources and flexible learning modes.However,the exhibits in the museum are relatively scattered,thus the knowledge is mostly presented in fragments,and there is no effective guidance,so it is difficult for students to form a scientific knowledge system and effectively achieve their learning goals.As an aid to the learning process,the learning scaffold supports students’ learning and can help students to sort out the concrete experience gained from the interaction between their body and exhibits,so as to realize the meaning construction.Therefore,how the process of pupils’ moral cultivation is developed in museums and what forms of learning scaffold can promote their moral education are the focuses of this study.It is hoped that through this research,we can not only help museum learning achieve better results in practice,but also explore a new path of moral education for pupils.On the basis of reviewing and analyzing a large number of literature,this study summarizes the research status of museum learning,pupils’ moral cultivation and learning scaffold at home and abroad,and defines the concepts of museum learning,pupils’ moral cultivation and learning scaffold.On this basis,by analyzing the contents and methods of moral cultivation of pupils,combined with the analysis of the role of museum learning in their moral cultivation,this paper sums up the model of museum learning process of pupils’ moral cultivation.According to the observation form and the interview outline of museum learning,I made observation and interview of museum learning,and analyzed the problems existing in pupils’ museum learning.After that,I summarized the types of existing learning scaffolds,combining with the existing problems in museum learning and the characteristics of pupils’ moral cultivation,I concluded the design principles of learning scaffolds in museum learning of pupils’ moral cultivation.Based on the model of museum learning process of pupils’ moral cultivation,this paper puts forward the design framework of museum learning scaffold for students’ moral cultivation,and introduces the concrete museum learning scaffold in detail.Finally,two rounds of design-based research were conducted to evaluate the practical effect of learning scaffold in museum learning.After revising and improving,I constructed the framework of museum learning scaffold for moral cultivation of pupils,including five types:directional learning scaffold,situational learning scaffold,resource-based learning scaffold,interactive learning scaffold and evaluation-based learning scaffold.The specific forms were questions,explanations,case study,stories,learning guides,multimedia materials,teamwork,role play,evaluation forms,interactive games and so on.The practical results show that the museum learning scaffold designed by this research is helpful to the moral cultivation of pupils.This study has a good effect,specifically,it has made two achievements: first,it has built a model of museum learning process of pupils’ moral cultivation;Secondly,it designed the framework of learning scaffold for their moral cultivation.Although this study only took a short time and had insufficient research subjects,it still has certain theoretical and practical significance.Through the design and practical application of museum learning scaffold,and exploring effective ways to promote the moral cultivation of pupils in informal learning environment,this paper makes up for the deficiency of moral cultivation in schools to a certain extent.Moreover,the design scheme of learning scaffold drawn by this study can play its due value in the learning in Confucius Mansion and other museums,and provide some case teaching and practical reference for teachers,museum staff and researchers who carry out similar teaching activities in the future.I hope that in the future research,I can extend the research duration,expand the research subjects,collect the data more rigorously and analyze it scientifically,so as to ensure the persuasiveness of the data and verify the popularization of the research results. |
