| In recent years,the number of children with cancer in China continues to grow,and the growth rate is significantly higher than that in developed countries.As a chronic disease,malignant tumor affects the physical and mental health of children,which makes children prone to anxiety,depression and social withdrawal,and affects the rehabilitation and quality of life of children.This study aimed at the problem of less peer communication in hospitalized children with tumor,and tried to explore the way to solve the problem through social work method.First of all,the author used the "children’s peer communication ability power scale" to measure the children’s peer communication ability in oncology department,and found that the children’s scores in social initiative,verbal and non-verbal communication ability are significantly lower than those of healthy children.Then,by observing the children’s performance in the process of peer communication,and combining with semi-structured interviews,the author further analyzed the reasons why children have less peer communication and are prone to peer conflict.In the stage of social work intervention,case work and group work were carried out under the guidance of social learning theory,group socialization theory and cognitive conflict theory,combined with picture book reading therapy.The effectiveness evaluation showed that social work was beneficial to improve the social initiative and verbal and non-verbal communication ability of hospitalized tumor children,and peer interaction of different ages was conducive to improve the treatment compliance of young children and social initiative of older children.Finally,the author reflects on the practical process,and puts forward suggestions to improve the social work of children’s medical. |
