Background and Objective : Arterial stiffness is one of the risk factors of cardiovascular disease, and exercise can play a beneficial role in reducing arterial stiffness. At present, studies have shown that Isometric exercises has a good effect on lowering blood pressure, but it’s effect on arterial stiffness has not been shown to be beneficial. In addition, related studies have shown that unstable unilateral exercise increases the activity of the trunk muscles, and the muscles can induce a related rapid adaptive response through continuous contractile activity. On this basis, this study on the health of the elderly static on one leg intervention, compare the same amount of exercise in the different state of equilibrium under the condition of arterial hardness reaction, but also observed the same equilibrium under the condition of different exercise arterial hardness changes, changes in the amount of exercise to explore the health of the elderly on one leg of sports exercise and hardening of the arteries, dose effect. Methods:In the first experiment,18 healthy middle-aged and elderly subjects underwent blank intervention(control)and one-legged standing exercise for 3min*2with intermission of 1min.In experiment 2,18 healthy middle-aged and elderly people were randomly assigned to three different one-legged standing exercises: eye closing for 3min,eye closing for 3min*2,eye closing for 3min*3,and intermission for 1min.Results: There was no significant change in CAVI on the non-intervention side immediately after the intervention of three schemes: eye closing for 3min,eye closing for 3min*2(intermittent 1min),and eye closing for 3min*3(intermittent 1min).CAVI on the intervention side decreased significantly compared with the base value, and CAVI decreased most obviously after the intervention of eye closing for 3min*2(intermittent 1min).Conclusion: Acute one-leg standing can reduce arterial stiffness and has beneficial effect on arterial health. There is a dose-effect relationship between the amount of exercise and arterial stiffness in standing exercise, and the requirement of physical stability plays a more important role in the intervention process. |
