Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of University Management Informatization University As An Example

In the 1990s,universities and colleges in China successively constructed management and information system in the field of the higher education,scientific research,administration and the like.The management information system,to some extent,solves the problems of higher education,improving administrative management efficiency,providing a more suitable platform for the development of education.With the rapid development of internet technology,concepts,modes and approaches of education,management and scientific research are facing a big change,in which management Informationization has become a significant approach to reform and innovation and to promoting modernization of the governance system.With the advance of "Double-First Class",world-class universities and disciplines must meet the needs of personalized and refined service by information technology;decision-makers rely more policy-making on big data;service-oriented and application-oriented platforms are becoming the basic security.The essential precondition of building "Double-First Class" must be the top management Informationization.But in the course of its exploration,complaints like the excessive development of the system which is hard for users to adapt or the unused model of the system never stop.Problems including lack of awareness of Informationization,the isolated information island,gradually appear,which are urgently to be solved.As a consequence,accelerating the construction of management Informationization system and solving the sore problems are quite urgent.The thesis uses quantitative analysis by questionnaire,interviews and statistic analysis,explaining and inducing management informatization of universities and colleges in S province,then taking the example of Q university,in search of problems and causes including lack of system integration,inadequate information sharing,bad service experience,more management bugs,and widespread mobile applications.Thus combined with the theory of "New Public Management",and "Digital Governance Theory" solutions are given below:only through Strengthening top-level design,optimizing organization,improving the management mechanism,and enhancing fostering professional talents can solve the problems of management informatization,achieve the goal of management modernization and world-class universities.
