In the teaching of table tennis courses in colleges and universities,the complicated movements of the table tennis forehand,such as grip,stroke and arm swing,etc.Have always been the difficulties in the teaching of physical education teachers.The purpose of introducing the new teaching mode is to change the old teaching concept and solve the existing problems of traditional teaching mode.Flipped classroom teaching mode can well optimize the complexity of technical movements,help students quickly establish the motion representation,help students establish the correct cognition of technical movements,improve the standardization of students’ technical movements,and thus improve the teaching effect and quality.The main research methods of this paper are literature review,teaching experiment,questionnaire,expert interview and mathematical statistics.Teaching experimental design,experimental group and control group,before and after the form of comparison,the flipped classroom teaching model is applied to the teaching practice of table tennis course for male students majoring in social science in universities.All the participants in the experiment are table tennis beginners.Before the experiment,the homogeneity of physical quality and basic skills were tested between the experimental class and the control class,At the end of the experiment period,the students of the two classes were tested before and after the experiment.Based on the experimental results,this paper discusses the influence of flipped classroom teaching mode on the basic skills,theoretical knowledge and learning interest of table tennis forehand attack,and finally draws the following conclusions:(1)Under flipped classroom teaching mode,the improvement of students’ forehand attacking skills is obviously higher than that of traditional teaching mode.After a semester’s study,both the experimental class and the control class have improved their forehand attack skills,but the overall skill scores of the experimental class are obviously higher than those of the control class.It shows that flipped classroom teaching is more helpful to improve students’ forehand attacking skills.(2)Under flipped classroom teaching mode,the effect of students’ improving theoretical knowledge is better than that of traditional teaching mode.The test paper of Theoretical Knowledge of Table Tennis Forehand Attack was distributed to students in the experimental class and the control class to investigate and analyze the results of students’ theoretical achievements of table tennis forehand attack.The results show that flipped classroom teaching mode can enable students to better grasp the theoretical knowledge of table tennis forehand attack.(3)Under flipped classroom teaching mode,the effect of improving students’ learning interest is better than that of traditional teaching mode.Questionnaires were sent to students in the experimental class and the control class to investigate their interest in table tennis.Then analyze the results to draw conclusions,The class under flipped classroom teaching mode is more interested in table tennis class than the class under traditional teaching mode.Learning on flipped classroom online platform greatly increases the opportunities for students to contact and communicate with each other,and effectively promotes the improvement of students’ interest in learning.(4)The distribution of video resources before class in flipped classroom mode is conducive to improving the teaching effect.Student independent learning 、 learning knowledge in advance、master the knowledge、conclusion and thinking、actively interact with teachers,best conducive to the class to do the preparation of listening.Solve the multi-angle skill demonstration,fast and slow skill demonstration,and highlight the important and difficult points,so as to improve the teaching quality.
