Research On The Current Status And Promotion Countermeasures Of College Students’ Political Identity In Chongqing

Political identity is a political subject’s sense of belonging to political values,political tools,political entities,and political effectiveness in social life based on realistic material interests and value pursuits,as well as the corresponding political value orientation and political behavior.Improving the political identity of members of society is an eternal goal of the political system and a realistic pursuit of ideological and political education.At present,China is in a critical period of reform and opening up and social transformation.It is facing the dual pressures of domestic development and external environmental challenges.People’s political identity is facing increasingly severe challenges in the social reality of differentiated interests,prominent social contradictions,and intense thought collisions..As the builders and successors of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics,college students’ political identity is not only related to their own growth and development,but also to political stability and the country’s long-term development.Therefore,in this situation,studying the current situation of college students’ political identity and improving countermeasures will not only help to improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,improve the political literacy of college students,promote their political socialization,but also promote the innovation of social governance systems Helping the healthy and orderly development of society.This article takes 658 college students from 7 Chongqing universities,including Chongqing University,Southwest University,Southwest University of Political Science and Law,Chongqing Jiaotong University,and Chongqing Medical University as research samples.A questionnaire survey was conducted on the status of college students’ political identity,and interviews were conducted with 2 college counselors,3college teachers,4 college students,and 3 college student parents.On the basis of questionnaires and interviews,combined with existing literature,this paper explores the current situation of political identity of college students in Chongqing,finds its problems,analyzes the reasons for the problems,and finally proposes an effective way to improve the political identity of college students.The body part is divided into five parts:The first part:Introduction.This section describes the reasons for choosing thetopic,the significance of the research,the review of the research status,the research ideas and methods,the difficulties and possible innovations of the research.The second part:Relevant overview of political identity of college students.This section starts from two aspects of theory and reality.First,it defines the basic concepts studied in this article-identity,political identity,the core constituent elements and characteristics of college students’ political identity,and lays the groundwork for the following research.The practical needs of improving the degree of political socialization of college students,optimizing the requirements of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,and the era of building socialist modernization call for three aspects to expound the practical significance of improving college students’ political identity.The third part: Investigation and analysis of the status of political identity of university students in Chongqing.The author of this part mainly starts from two aspects.First,clarify the objects of the survey,the reliability of the survey tools,the feasibility of the survey methods,and the scientific nature of the data processing methods.Secondly,based on the analysis of the overall situation and existing problems,the results of the survey of Chongqing ’s university students ’political identities were found,and it was found that the political identities of Chongqing ’s university students were generally on the upper-middle level;Political entities and political effectiveness hold negative emotions,political beliefs are not firm,political participation is low,and motives for political action are utilitarian.The fourth part: the reasons for the problems of political identity of Chongqing university students.Based on the analysis of Chongqing university students ’political identity survey data and interviews with people with different identities,this section combines relevant literature and data from the four aspects of university students’ own quality,family environment,college ideological and political theory courses,campus political and cultural construction,and social environment.Thoughts on the reasons for the problems of political identity of college students in Chongqing,and found that college students’ irrational political cognition,multiple pressures faced by parents,incorrect political concepts of parents,non-democratic family education,and the content and methods of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities The improvement,the lack of political and cultural construction,and the lack of channels for political participation,the impact of social issues and socialtrends of thought are the main reasons leading to the problems of political identity of college students in Chongqing.The fifth part: countermeasure analysis to improve the political identity of Chongqing university students.This section starts with the reasons for the problems of Chongqing ’s college students ’political identity,and combines the current situation with the emphasis on self-political identity education for college students to achieve a healthy development of political identity;optimize the family education environment and create a good atmosphere of political identity cultivation;Political theory course and the construction of campus political culture;constructing a good social environment and building the social foundation of college students’ political identity.Four aspects are discussed to improve the political identity of Chongqing college students.The sixth part:Concluding remarks.This section summarizes the full text,and also explains the deficiencies and improvement directions of this article.
