Beijing College Students’ Political Identification Problem Research

The political identification is a kind of emotional and conscious sense of belonging of political subject(individual or group) existing in certain political system to the existing political system,political operation,political value and political authority figures.The matter of political identification is an important issue in the participation of citizens in political life and social life which plays a crucial role in maintaining the political stability of a country.College students are the elite and the pioneer group among young persons who are the builders and successors of the socialism with Chinese characteristics.Their political identification is not only related to the current political stability, but also concerns the future political development.Under the new normal,the contemporary college students should earnestly study and implement the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the Eighteenth Conference of the Communist Party,establish and earnestly act the development concept of innovation,coordination,environmental protection,open and sharing to achieve the ideological recognition and make their contribution to the realization of the two centenary goals.This paper includes the following four parts.Firstly,clarify the definition of political identification by reading the relevant documentation which consists of related concepts,main content and basic features. Secondly,with the empirical investigation of the state of the political identification of six college students in Beijing,analyze the state of political identification of college students in Beijing city on the basis of the questionnaires.The survey found that the overall attitude towards political identification identity of the college students in Beijing is positive.They affirm the leadership of the Communist Party of China and endorse the guidelines and policies of the party and the country.They have relatively firm ideals and a strong sense of patriotism and responsibility.But there are still some problems for some of the college students.Thirdly,analyze and systematically discuss the factors as personal factors,family factors,school factors and social factors that affect the political identity of college students.Finally,put forward four main ways of realizing the political identification of college students which concludes the concern of the self internalization of the college students,the optimization of the family environment of ideological enlightenment,the innovation of the ideological education of campus and the offer of social environment protection.By the empirical investigation and analysis of the political identification of the college students in Beijing,the purpose of this paper is to understand and grasp the data of the political identification state of contemporary college students and provide basis for the better implementation of College Students’ political identification.Then on the base of these,it puts forward some opinions on how to establish and consolidate the right political identification of college students.
