With the advancement of medical technology and the change of people’s needs for medicine,the medical model has changed,gradually shifting from a simple biomedical model to a bio-psycho-social medical model,and the nursing model has therefore changed.Due to the particularity of nursing work services,nursing services have unique human characteristics.In addition to a solid business theory and superb nursing skills,nurses that meet the needs of modern society should have a good emotional intelligence level to cope with complex nursing environments and handle interpersonal relationships.Emotional quotient training for nursing students is conducive to improving their ability to deal with doctor-patient problems,helping them to build a good psychological quality,so as to improve the overall quality of students and be better qualified for future nursing work.In this study,a literature survey method,questionnaire survey method and comparative research method were used to conduct a questionnaire survey on 324 nursing students in a vocational college in SX City.The questionnaire was selected as the questionnaire of the Emotional Intelligence Scale of Higher Vocational College Students.It is composed of five dimensions: overall emotional intelligence level,emotional stability,psychological adaptability,depression level,interpersonal relationship level,collect questionnaires,and finally get the relevant data,and use demographic factors(sex,grade,only child or not,class)Cadres or not)conducted a statistical analysis with each dimension of the questionnaire and obtained the following conclusions:First,boys in nursing majors have a higher level of emotional intelligence than girls,and gender has a significant correlation with emotional stability and psychological adaptability(P <0.01);Second,nursing students of higher grades are inferior to those of lower grades in the three dimensions of overall emotional intelligence level,emotional stability,and psychological adaptability,and grades are related to overall emotional intelligence level(P <0.05);Third,the three dimensions of nursing students who are not only-children are not as good as those of the only-child students,and whether or not the only child is related to the overall EQ dimension(P <0.05)Fourthly,the nursing students of class cadres are higher than those of non-class cadres in the five dimensions of emotional quotient.Whether or not the cadres of class and group has significant correlation with the level of interpersonal relationship(P <0.01).Finally,this research puts forward the strategy of EQ cultivation from three perspectives of cognition,ability,and environment combining family,school,and nursing students: family,school,and nursing students should raise the awareness of the importance of EQ cultivation;EQ cultivation integrates talent training programs,improve professionalism Teachers’ EQ develops teaching ability and changes classroom teaching methods so as to enhance their ability to cultivate EQ;improve the environment of class collective,campus and occupation to create an EQ training environment.
