| Family toys is a necessity for children’s family life and has important and unique developable value for children.In the existing home toy research system,researchers rarely recognize and advocate the significance that children should be the main part of research,in this case,lacking children’s viewpiont and opinion.Children,as the main owners,users and managers of family toys,have full say in the understanding,ownership,usage and management of family toys.They have the right and more or less ability to participate as researchers in the investigation.In this study,a purpose sampling method was used by inviting 35 childrens aged5-6 in C kindergarten of Chongqing.Literature method,in-depth interview method and other research methods are used in this study,all base on the viewpoint of children,respecting children’s unique somatopsychic developmenet and cognitive mode of thinking.Children are free to talk abouttheir own view of toys in their cognitive world,as well as the actual experience and emotional experience of owning,using and managing toys in family life.Therefore,we are able toknow the most real status of family toys for children aged 5-6.The research found positive aspects that reflected the children "s viewpoint.Children are social actors with unique abilities.They can use the direct experience and feelings gained by interacting with family toys to build specific concepts of toys in their minds,fully affirming the unique and important value of toys;Those children who are fully respected by adults in family life has the right of saying and choice,they are able to choose and buy toys according to their own subjective needs freely.However,this study also found that some problems are worthy of parents’ deep reflection Children are restricted by genders tereotypes and have “gender prejudice”on toys;Parents have no targeted education and effective guidance,this leads to a obvious short of home-made toys in the family toys for little children,and also leads to negative disposal of old toys;Short of suitable guidance from parents to choose toys;The time and space for children to use toys are limited,and the quality of parents" participation in children"s games is not high;Children have a strong sense of toy management,but they need a further improvement in management methods.In order to help parents to provide a better support and guidance for little children tounderstand toys scientifically and reasonably,to improve the current ownership status of family toys,and to improve the ability of little children to use and manage family toys,below fiverelative educational suggestions are proposed base on the research: First,infiltrate gender education in daily life and weaken the stereotypes of little children;Second,guide little children to deal with old toys in multiple ways and increase the variety of home-made toys;Third,guide little children to choose suitable family toys and parents should control the security of toys strictly;Fourth,ensure good quality and enough time of playing games in daily life;Fifth,set an good example as a demonstration education,and scientifically guide little children to manage toys. |
