Research Of Interest Teaching On Chinese Language Vocabulary Teaching In Thai Primary School

Vocabulary is an important part of communicative competence.If we only use phonetic or grammar,we cannot express the complete communication to the other person.On the other hand,in Chinese Thai primary schools,students cannot make a good command of sound,or understand the meaning,form and basic usage of Chinese vocabulary due to teachers’ lack of teaching technicality;teachers are not able to bring forth enough new ideas and cannot cultivate students’ interest in learning well.Therefore,this paper takes students who are learning Chinese in Tanintorn primary school as the research object.Through observation and questionnaire this paper obtains the existing uninteresting teaching problems in the school,and provides teaching plan to carry out interest vocabulary teaching.After an evaluation and review of each interest teaching method in class,this paper gathers the following conclusions:Based on the practical experience and the investigation results,this paper puts forward the following suggestions: First,teachers should not over praise the students,but should praise them from their own strong point and improvement as to avoid undesirable studying behavior.Second,the using of games as teaching method should be in line with the mentality and physiological characteristics of students.Third,object rewards are not suitable for long-term teaching process.At the beginning stage,rewards can be used to encourage students but we should also pay attention to combining other teaching methods to cut down these kinds of rewards.Next,choosing Thai version textbook,there are many interesting Chinese textbook,teachers can adapt the content and show the essence of the textbook to students.Last,teachers’ compassion and patience should be expressed actively.As an excellent Chinese teacher,for every teaching activity,teachers should focus on students.Teachers need to have a positive attitude,smile at students,help students achieve learning expectations and improve learning efficiency.
