Vocabulary is the foundation of learning language.Vocabulary is the basic structural unit of a sentence,and it is also the smallest language unit that can be used independently.The accumulation of vocabulary is especially important for Chinese beginners,to cultivate learners' ability not only to the memory of the words,it is more important to master the meaning,function and collocation relation,but also understand and master the cultural connotations of vocabulary and the corresponding pragmatic culture,which can be based on different occasions and their demand.To be able to use vocabulary reasonably,realize the communication.This is also the goal of Chinese vocabulary teaching in Thailand.For beginners in Thailand,especially young learners,how to teach effectively is a very important part of Thai vocabulary teaching.Based on the literature research,observation,interview and questionnaire survey,combined with the author's practical experience,taking the four to six grades of primary school as an example,this paper studies vocabulary teaching at the initial stage of BUDDHAMETTA ROI-ET SCHOOL in Thailand.Firstly,the status of Chinese and Chinese vocabulary teaching in the school are analyzed,mainly analyzed from four aspects of Chinese teaching atmosphere,teachers,teaching materials andteaching facilities,teaching contents and curriculum and curriculum implementation and four to the sixth grade primary school Chinese teaching,which is a premise for exploring the next step.Then,combined with the teaching documents and syllabus of Chinese international education,the core curriculum of elementary education in 2008,the vocabulary of Chinese textbooks and students' actual teaching needs,the corresponding vocabulary teaching general thesaurus was formulated at grade level in Thailand.After details of the four teaching methods in teaching effective,are a bilingual vocabulary teaching method,task-based activities,audio-visual method and language teaching method based on block.Finally,this study will be carried out,the lesson design and teaching practice to reflect the teaching contents and methods.We hope to provide some reference for the Chinese teachers who are facing similar problems.
