In recent years,China’s economic development has stepped into a phase of structural adjustment,which has higher requirements for skilled talents,also higher requirements for vocational educators who cultivate skilled talents.In order to cultivate a team of "dual teacher",with noble morality,high quality,superb skills,and advanced professionalism,the Ministry of Education issued the Opinions on the Establishment of Secondary Vocational School Teacher to Enterprise Practice System since 2006.Fully realized the importance of establishing a secondary vocational school teacher to enterprise practice system,and some other related documents have also been introduced.In October of 2015,the Ministry of Education revised the Provisions on the Practice of Teacher Enterprises in Vocational Schools(Trial),and made specific provisions on the practice of teacher enterprises,raising the practice of teacher enterprises to a high level.Guided by the state policy to encourage the practice of vocational teachers enterprises and the school own development,each vocational school clarified the importance and necessity of the practice of teachers’ enterprises,actively participated,and achieved certain results,while exposed some other problems at the same time.In this study,based on the existing literature,the author defines the core concepts of vocational teachers’ enterprise practice,by using questionnaires,interviews,and observations to investigate the practice of three vocational schools’ teacher enterprises in Zengcheng District,Guangzhou.The author investigated the situation,collected a large amount of data,organized and analyzed the data.Seeing through the appearance to perceive the essence,finding out the existing problems,analyzing the causes of the problems,and proposing improvement strategies,hopefully can improve the effectiveness of the vocational teachers’ practice in enterprises.The survey results show that there are four major problems in the practice of professional teachers in secondary vocational schools in Zengcheng District,Guangzhou:insufficient teacher motivation,imperfect overall school management,low enthusiasm for enterprise participation and weak national policy guidance.Teachers’ attitudes toparticipating in enterprise practices are contradictory.Teacher enterprise practices have no specific plans and not match with majors,and poor follow-up effectiveness of teacher enterprise practices restrict the motivation of teacher enterprise practices: The lack of overall management in schools is reflected in the lack of effective planning,organization,supervision,and evaluation and incentives;the lack of enthusiasm for companies to participate and fail to reflect the dominant position of the company is due to the lack of effective understanding and interest-driven enterprises;the weak guidance of national policies and regulations is mainly reflected in the lack of effective binding of policies and regulations and the lack of effective channels for promotion.In response to the above problems,based on the theoretical foundations of lifelong learning theory,STW theory,achievement demand theory,and transformational learning theory,effective countermeasures are provided from four levels: teachers,schools,enterprises,and governments.Overall arrangements,give play to the main role of enterprises,and strengthen the guidance of policies and regulations.
