In recent years, the incidence of ASD(Austism Spectrum Disorder)is increasingly high, has become the first mental disability in China. At present,as the causes and treatment options of ASD are still unknown, integrated education is the best way to promote their maximum development and social integration. However, from the current situation, the school difficulties of school-age autistic children still occur frequently, and some studies have shown that the stigma of treating the disabled is the main factor hindering the integration of the disabled into the society.Normal university students are defined as prospective teachers, and their correct understanding of ASD and stigma of autistic children are closely related to the development of integrated education. Therefore,in this study, normal university students were selected as subjects to investigate their knowledge of ASD and stigma of autistic children, and on this basis to explore the priming effect of positive events on stigma.Study 1:using a convenient sampling method,244 normal university students were recruited on the Internet as the survey objects.By means of questionnaire survey, the awareness of normal university students on ASD was investigated from six aspects, including ASD identification, basic knowledge, etiology speculation, influence degree, intervention treatment and prognosis. At the same time, the influence of demographic variables, such as gender and exposure,on knowledge was discussed. The results show that:(1)on the whole, normal university students have a low awareness of ASD,and only 59%of them can fully recognize its core symptoms.(2)the impact of contact experience on the awareness rate of children with ASD is significantly different.Compared with the non-contact group, subjects in the contact group have a higher awareness rate on the basic condition of ASD,the impact of disease, intervention treatment, special education and prognosis.Study 2:using a convenient sampling method,244 normal university students were recruited online as research subjects.Semantic scale was used to explore the explicit stigma of normal university students on ASD children.Another 30 normal university students were randomly selected and the implicit stigma of autistic children was measured by the single implicit association test(sc-iat).The results showed that:(1)the explicit stigma of normal university students on autistic children was not significant.(2)the implicit stigma of normal university students on autistic children is significant, and the impact of contact experience is not significant.Study 3:60 subjects were randomly recruited. On the basis of study 2,a text priming paradigm was added, and a 2(text priming type:positive,neutral)×2(test type:explicit measurement, implicit test)mixed experimental design was adopted,in which the text type was the inter-group variable and the test type was the intra-group variable.By asking normal university students to read the positive event text of autistic children, this paper discusses the effectiveness of text priming in improving stigma, and compares the improvement degree of implicit stigma and explicit stigma,in order to provide practical experience for the improvement of stigma of autistic children. The results showed that the positive event priming had a significant marginal effect on the implicit stigma, but no significant effect on the explicit stigma.Through the analysis of test and experimental data, the following conclusions can be drawn:(1)The awareness rate of normal university students on ASD is poor, with nearly half of them unable to correctly identify its core symptoms. At the same time, normal university students who have been exposed to autistic children have a more comprehensive understanding of ASD.(2)Normal university students have implicit stigma for autistic children, but no explicit stigma.(3)There is a significant difference in the influence of exposure to autistic children on the explicit stigma of normal university students.Normal university students exposed to special children have a more positive explicit attitude towards autistic children.(4)Normal university students’ processing of positive event pictures of autistic children has a slight improvement effect on the implicit stigma of autistic children.(5)Based on the integrated education as the main form of placement in China’s special education, the research shows that the construction of general education courses in normal colleges and universities should be strengthened; We will strengthen the work of ordinary normal university students as interns in autism institutions and special education schools.
