With the expansion of higher vocational colleges and the development of global economy,higher vocational students faced with increasingly serious employment problems.Internship is a key link for students to develop ability and accumulate resources in higher vocational colleges.Unified internship,independent internship and mixed internship have different effects on the employment of higher vocational students.On the basis of literature review on internship quality and employment quality of higher vocational students,and in combination with the questionnaire "questionnaire on employment impact of higher vocational internship method",this paper took 646 college graduates from Guang Dong province as samples and studied the status quo and relationship between internship quality and employment quality of higher vocational students under different internship methods by means of independent sample t test,correlation analysis and regression analysis.Research results are as follows:First,the internship quality and employment quality of higher vocational students have significant differences in the internship mode.The practice quality of students with mixed practice is higher than that of students with unified practice.The employment quality of students with unified internship is higher than that of students with mixed internship.Second,the different ways of internship internship and employment quality higher vocational students are significant correlation relationship.Third,different ways of internship students’ internship can effectively forecast the quality of higher vocational students’ employment quality development.Through interviews with 21 former vocational students,it is found that different internship methods have different influences on employment.First,under the unified practice,students’ major related rate is high,but their initiative is poor.Second,the initiative of the independent internship is higher,the ability of training is higher,but the internship rights and interests of the protection is lower.Third,under the mixed internship,students’ employment considerations are more comprehensive and the influences are more complex and diverse.Based on the research on the influence of different internship modes on the employment of higher vocational students,this paper puts forward some strategies and Suggestions to promote the employment quality through internship quality,guide higher vocational students to improve the internship quality,and enhance the employ ability of students,so as to improve the employment quality of different strategies.Suggestions: schools should deepen school-enterprise cooperation to expand internship channels,students should take the initiative to participate in internship to enhance their employment awareness,enterprises should provide practice opportunities to improve their employ ability,and the society should publicize vocational education to enhance students’ sense of identity.Suggestions for the strategy of independent internship: the school shall guarantee the internship rights and interests by timely tracking feedback,students shall improve their awareness and develop their employ ability,enterprises shall provide internship opportunities to guarantee the internship rights and interests,and the government shall provide legal assistance to supervise the internship units.Suggestions for hybrid internship strategies: schools should provide internship options to strengthen career guidance,students should improve their awareness of independent planning and take the initiative to explore,enterprises should provide internship training activities and promote school-enterprise cooperation,and the government should deepen the integration of industry and education and expand employment channels. |
