Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Engineering Undergraduates' Social Internship In Colleges Of Liaoning Province

The employment of college students has become a major concern in our society. Our state has enacted a series of policies and countermeasures, which has increased the employment rate of college graduates. Social internship is practical teaching program of the college students before employment, and its quality is related to the advance of the ability and competitiveness of student employment. Obviously, social internship is very important. There is a large scale of engineering undergraduates, and their social internship demand is very high. So their social internship has become the importance of higher education employment.On the current situation of engineering undergraduates'social internship, there are lots of problems such as the difficulties of participation in the social internship, the poor effect of the social internship, the unpopularity of the college students of science and engineering, the confused mode of the entire social internship, the unsound management system and so on. All of these problems should be solved, which not only asks for government's and colleges' attention, but also requests students'common endeavor. The author thinks that the key to changing the current situation is integrating all social sources. It is necessary to establish the cooperative mode of multiple bodies, which demands the government and enterprises heavily involved into the social internship of college students of science and engineering.The thesis aims at making a research about the social internship of college students of science and engineering in Liaoning. Firstly, through the survey and interview, the author clearly understand the current mode, goal, period and content of the social internship of college students of science and engineering, and the present measures taken by the colleges, enterprises and government. Then the thesis analyzes the existing problems of the social internship and makes a detailed discussion of its reasons. On this basis, the author devises the according improvement project about the social internship of Liaoning college students, which puts forward the cooperative mode of multiple bodies, particularly emphasizes relative intermediary organs'involvement. And the thesis makes a feasibility demonstration of the improvement project in terms of political basis, operational feasibility and effectiveness of job security. Lastly, as far as the cooperative mode of multiple bodies is concerned, taking example of domestic and abroad excellent experiences, the thesis puts forward according countermeasures from the degree of the colleges, government and enterprises.This research believes that the key to solve the problem of social practice of engineering students in Liaoning province is to integrate social resources, explore the mode of cooperative governance of multiple subjects.Through the strengthening of the depth of cooperation between school and enterprise practice education, innovative social practice, improve the quality assurance system of college students, and promote graduates through internships, practice to promote high-quality employment.
