In the current stage of education development,the mutual assistance between kindergarten education model and family teaching has become a new concept of preschool education development.The participation of parents in early childhood education is being valued by the society.However,in the process of implementation,there are still many problems that cannot be ignored in the participation of parents in the kindergarten education activities,and its role is not fully realized.In this study,a questionnaire survey of parents’ participation in kindergarten education was conducted among 260 parents from 4 kindergartens in Xi ’an and 9kindergarten teachers from different backgrounds were interviewed.The research content mainly includes three aspects: first,the current situation of parents’ participation in kindergarten education;Then,some problems and reasons of parents’ participation in kindergarten education are discussed.Finally,the effective improvement measures of parents’ participation in kindergarten education.The questionnaire reflects the following typical problems of parents’ participation in kindergarten education activities in Xi ’an: lack of initiative,single participation mode,low degree of participation and insignificant effect.The causes of the above problems mainly include the following two aspects: on the one hand,from the macro perspective,it is mainly caused by the lack of policies and regulations,the influence of traditional culture and the constraints of economic development level;On the other hand,from the micro perspective,the main reasons are that parents are affected by life pressure,parents’ insufficient ability to participate,electronic products and network era,parents’ traditional concepts have not kept pace with the development,and the relationship between parents and teachers is difficult to deal with.In view of the above problems,some Suggestions are given to change the current situation and solve the main contradiction for reference: education departments and government agencies should pay attention to the important role of parents in early childhood education,so as to reasonably protect the legitimate rights and interests of all parties;Second,the kindergarten should improve the quality and enthusiasm of children’s education involving parents,so as to better serve parents andstudents.Finally,parents should actively change the traditional educational concept and actively cooperate with teachers to participate in it.
