Abstract/Summary:
The poor rural areas in central and western China are restricted by the economic level,traffic conditions and school running conditions,so there is a significant gap between the development of kindergarten education quality and other surrounding areas.In the context of targeted poverty alleviation and targeted education support,the state has issued a series of policies and regulations on preschool education,which has attracted extensive attention from all walks of life,especially the high attention paid to early childhood education in poor rural areas,resulting in certain development of preschool education in poor rural areas in central and western China.However,due to its weak foundation,the development of preschool education in poor rural areas in central and western China is still slow.At the same time,the educational concept of the parents of children has changed with the social progress and the improvement of living standards.Parents gradually realize the important value of kindergarten education,parents are full of expectations for kindergarten education,and put forward a series of needs.Therefore,this study selected four representative state-level poverty-stricken counties in central and western China,Luxi county of Xiangxi autonomous prefecture of Hunan province,Lichuan city of Enshi Tujia and Miao autonomous prefecture of Hubei province,tongxin county of Wuzhong city of Ningxia Hui autonomous region,and Xundian county of Yunnan province,and conducted field interviews and questionnaires for parents of childrens.In order to understand the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the context of curriculum reform and national policy support,the poor rural kindergartens in central and western China,the current situation of the quality of kindergarten education and the quality of parents’ demand and satisfaction.This paper explores and analyzes the main factors influencing parents’ demand for kindergarten education quality in poor rural areas in central and western China,as well as the contradiction between kindergarten education service and parents’ demand,and then puts forward targeted suggestions.First of all,through the relevant documents,reports and the Internet survey of the current economic,social and educational basic situation of the poor rural areas in central and western China,it is found that the state-level poverty-stricken counties in central and western China have made great progress with the help of the state and society.In this regard,four state-level poverty-stricken counties in central and western China were selected as sample areas and parents of local children were selected as survey objects;Secondly,the measurement tools were standardized,the dimensions and items of the questionnaire met the standards,and the reliability and validity of the questionnaire were high,making it suitable for use as a research tool;Thirdly,the field survey of poor rural parents in central and western China on the quality of kindergarten needs and satisfaction,It is concluded that parents’ demand for kindergarten education quality is relatively high,there are differences between kindergarten education quality demand and satisfaction degree,and parents’ demand for kindergarten education quality is affected by multiple factors;Finally,this study summarizes the characteristics of kindergarten education quality demand of parents in poor rural areas in central and western China.Analyzes and discusses the parents’ changes and problems in the quality of kindergarten education.Put forward specific suggestions to improve the quality of childcare and education,such as the local government should improve and supervise the pre-school education resources,the central and western rural poverty kindergarten shall establish and provide the quality of kindergarten education,kindergarten teachers should adjust measures to local conditions for development of the new way,parents should be more actively involved in the children’s life and learning medium.
