Comparative Analysis On Physical Health Of College Students Of Zhuang And Han In Guangxi

Research Objective: This paper aims to do research in physical health of college students of Zhuang and Han in Guangxi through obtaining such information as physiques,physical qualities and functions with hope of finding out the elements influenced on the student’s physical health and its relevant improvement methods.Research Methods: The datum of students’ physical fitness will be analyzed comparatively with methods of documentation,statistics,logics and comparison.Research Results: At first,the averages of height,weight and BMI index of the Han and Zhuang students,the former of which was higher than the latter,there were significant differences(P<0.01)in the averages of height and weight,there was significant difference in BMI index between boys(P<0.05),and BMI index was not significant(P>0.05).Secondly,the Han students(both female and male)were superior to the Zhuang students respectively in the averages of 50 m sprint,standing long jump and stamina while,with regards to the students’ flexibility,the latter was better than the former.Thirdly,in the aspect of pull-ups activity,the male students of Zhuang was better than the male students of Han,while in one-minute sit-up activity,the female students of Zhuang were better than the Han students.Fourthly,the average of Lung capacity of the Han students was greater than the Zhuang students(P<0.01),while the average ratio of lung capacity and weight in the Han students was greater than the Zhuang students(P<0.01).Research Conclusion: The growth tendency of Han students was better than Zhuang students while the developmental tendency of Physical fitness of the Zhuang students was better than the Han students.Moreover,the overall level of the Han students’ Lung capacity was better than Zhuang students while,the Zhuang students,influenced by the physique development,was better than the Han students in the average ratio of Lung capacity and weight.
