The social status and roles of women in modern society are becoming more and more diversified.Urban women of childbearing age play an important role in all aspects of the family and society.They are not only an irreplaceable role in the family but also an important force in the labor market.At present,in the context of China’s aging population and optimizing population policies,employment obstacles for urban childbearing women involve human capital,family conditions,social systems,and economic characteristics.It’s of great significance to research on employment obstacles and solutions of urban childbearing women.Employment obstacles and employment income are prominent problems in the urban childbearing women.In order to analyze these two issues in depth,first of all,establish a basic-dimensional employment indicator system according to the definition of employment by the World Labor Organization.Then through the literature review,increase the mental health level,the number of underage children,the education level of parents,etc.To form a more comprehensive employment obstacles index system for urban childbearing women that is endowed with Chinese social and economic characteristics,covering human capital,family characteristics,social capital,and macroeconomics.And then put forward the hypothesis that affects the urban childbearing women.The empirical test part integrates the "China General Social Survey" data,and selects urban female survey samples of 20-49 years of age at childbearing age as the research object,using STATA15.1 software based on the log-binomial regression model,given that the individual’s employment obstacles are likely to be heterogeneous in the childbearing age segment,this study further analyzes the low childbearing age and high childbearing age segments to refine the empirical results and enhance the model’s explanatory power.On the empirical test of the income effect of urban childbearing women,crowd selection and some index systems for continuing the empirical test of employment obstacles,and the explanatory variable of employment characteristics is increased.Using the OLS model,the focus is on the factors that affect the employment income of urban childbearing women.The conclusion is that among urban women of childbearing age,having a second child will deepen their employment obstacles and also have a significant negative effect on income.Accompanied by the improvement of education level and good health conditions can effectively promote the increase of employment probability and income.This is obvious in the female population of childbearing age with migration characteristics,but in urban areas with developed foreign trade and service industries,there are obvious obstacles to employment.Under the influence of traditional culture,family assets and social capital have a significant negative correlation with the employment obstacles of urban childbearing women,that is,the smaller the family and social capital,the greater the employment obstacles.The continuous improvement of social security policies and systems can effectively alleviate the employment obstacles for urban childbearing women.In this regard,it is proposed to create a multilevel external employment security environment,strengthen the employment assistance of female labor and the ability of enterprises to create jobs in the construction of the internal environment,and promote a good match between the two,and finally propose solutions to optimize the feedback process.
