Job involvement is an important standard to measure employees’ working attitude and behavior.Employees with high engagement can create more value for the organization.As the executor of various policies,township cadres have direct contact with the masses and are the bridge between the masses and the government.Their words and actions represent the image of the government.To some extent,the working status and service ability of township cadres directly affect the play of government functions.However,the reality shows that in recent years,the work pressure of township governments has increased,and the staff has shown the problem of decreased job involvement to some extent.As the center town of the F district,the personnel category of Zhongcheng town is complete,its work task is concentrated,so the Zhongcheng town government is a representative government.Therefore,this article takes the towns as the breakthrough point,to select the survey sample of 173 employees,with nine representative staff for a case interview,to explore the basic influence factors of working personnel of the government investment,and promote the town’s working personnel of the government investment project has a certain practical significance.Through a large amount of literature review,this paper finds out the concept,dimension and measurement of job involvement research,as well as the obvious factors affecting job involvement of government workers,such as work-family conflict and role pressure.Then,a questionnaire on job involvement that is in line with the facts is developed,and the reliability and validity are analyzed.Besides,specific data are collected through key case interviews to supplement the results of the questionnaire.Secondly,the existing problems and influencing factors of job involvement of government staff in Zhongcheng town are analyzed to provide a basis for the development of job involvement promotion strategies in the next step.Thirdly,the paper puts forward concrete improvement plans from four aspects of promotion mechanism,salary mechanism,work arrangement and organizational construction.Finally,presents the conclusions of the study.The research of this paper is helpful to broaden the research perspective of job involvement,provide case reference for the study of job involvement of civil servants,especially grassroots government workers,and enrich the content of theoretical research in this field.This study is also helpful to improve the level of job involvement of government staff in Zhongcheng town,and provide some references for the management of the government. |
