| With the rapid development of China’s economy,people’s living standards have been further improved and the average life expectancy has been extended.Subsequently,the problems of supporting the elderly have become the focus of social discussion,and they are also the major problems that our government must face and solve.Community home-care service for the elderly is a new type of elderly care service model between family care and institutional care for the elderly.It is mainly led by the government.It takes the community as the platform,family as the center.And it relies on professional services to provide all-round and humanized services for the elderly who are living at home.The research direction of this thesis is about problems of community home-care service in Dongsheng district in Ordos.The “S” community is the research object.By analyzing the experience of the community home-care service and using methods of reading literature,policy research and questionnaire survey,this paper aims to understand the present situation of the community home-care service as well as the requirements of the elderly for community home-care service in Dongsheng district in Ordos.Through the research of this thesis,there are some problems which include the weak support of government,insufficient supply of community home-care service,lacking of professional service personnel,and the society participation is not high as well as people do not know more about community home-care service.By appropriately learning from the advanced experience of home care services in other areas of China and combining with the actual situation of Dongsheng District,this thesis puts forward corresponding measures and suggestions,including strengthening government support in policy,fund and supervision,realizing the diversification of community home-care service,enhancing abilities of professional service personnel of community home-care service,promoting the sustainable development of community home-care service through multi-cooperation,extensive promotion of publicity and education on community home-care service.In addition,the innovation of this thesis lies in that Ordos is a minority area with Mongolians as the main body and Han ethnic group as the majority.Because of the influence of environment and culture,the problems of community home-care service for the elderly in this area are slightly different from other places.Depending on the study of community home-care services in Dongsheng District in Ordos and taking into account the needs of ethnic groups for the elderly,this thesis can fill the gap to some extent and has some innovation in the direction of this topic. |
