Research On The Influence Of Basic Endowment Insurance On The Subjective Well-being Of Urban Residents In China

The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed to enrich people’s sense of happiness,security and access.Happiness has gradually become a new indicator for the public to evaluate social development and living conditions.Pursuing people’s happiness has become an important goal of the government’s development.How to improve people’s happiness has become an important issue for future development.The Fifth Plenary Session of the 19 th CPC Central Committee also proposed that China should improve the multi-level social security system,implement the national strategy of actively coping with the aging population,and constantly promote the construction of a healthy China.As a balancer of social development,social insurance plays a role of "covering the bottom",especially the basic endowment insurance system,which is related to the national economy and people’s livelihood,and is an important support for the modernization of national governance system and governance capacity in the future.Due to the significant dual structure of China’s economic development,there is also a big gap between urban and rural endowment insurance systems.There are many studies on the relationship between rural residents’ happiness and endowment insurance.The type of rural residents’ participation is urban and rural residents’ endowment insurance,and their understanding of the basic endowment insurance system is single.The main type of urban residents’ participation also includes the basic pension of employees Old insurance has a higher cognition of happiness.Therefore,this paper chooses urban residents as the research object.Based on this,this paper uses the data of China’s household tracking survey in 2018 to study the relationship between the general well-being of urban residents and the basic endowment insurance by taking the basic endowment insurance and participation in the basic endowment insurance as the main independent variables Finally,the mediating effect model is constructed to analyze the transmission mechanism of urban residents’ well-being.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows: on the whole,the well-being of urban residents in China is above the medium level,receiving and participating in the basic endowment insurance can improve the well-being of urban residents,while participating in the basic endowment insurance for urban and rural residents will reduce the subjective well-being;specifically,age,spouse,work status and work are all different,the basic endowment insurance and the basic endowment insurance for urban and rural residents are different The impact of basic endowment insurance on Residents’ well-being is different;for urban residents who receive and participate in basic endowment insurance,the path of basic endowment insurance affecting their well-being is different.Finally,according to the research conclusions,this paper puts forward some constructive suggestions for the basic endowment insurance system.
