Research On The Cultivation Of Elderly Volunteers In Old Community

In the past five years,the state has vigorously supported the cultivation and development of community social organizations at the top-level design level,and more and more volunteer service teams have been established to bring warmth to the residents.In the first half of 2020,during the COVID-19 prevention and control in Jining,some elderly volunteers in the old communities were active at the grass-roots level by forming a temporary anti epidemic volunteer team,and volunteered services with the streets and communities,showing great service willingness to the community.After the epidemic,all kinds of difficulties faced by such old communities and the problems of unsound elderly volunteers are more prominent.How to transform the emergency participation in public health events into the sustainable cooperation of the community has become an urgent task.This study takes the elderly volunteer team in L community of Jining City as the research object,aims to cultivate the elderly volunteer team,carry out volunteer service activities,and respond to the special needs of the old community.Combined with literature,observation and interview,this paper combs the plight of the old community and the cultivation needs of the elderly volunteer team.On this basis,guided by the activity theory and regional development model,it recruits the elderly volunteers,carries out the "volunteer sincere" elderly volunteer team cultivation group,cultivates the elderly volunteer team,improves the basic norms of the team,and carries out four training activities Community activities promote the practice of voluntary service of the elderly volunteer team and consolidate the cultivation results.This expands the practice field of group work and community work,and to a certain extent contributes to the local experience accumulation and knowledge production of the cultivation and development of community social organizations.The cultivation of the elderly volunteer team can not only realize "the elderly have something to do",but also be an effective measure to care for the vulnerable groups in the community and respond to the plight of the old community.
