A Study Of The Social Work Involved In Community Integration Of The Elderly Who Migrate With Others

In recent years,China's urbanization process has accelerated,a large number of migrants have flooded into cities,and the trend of family migration has gradually strengthened,and a new group has emerged-"the elderly with the move." The old man who moved with him left the originally familiar hometown to live with his children.He faced great changes in the geographical environment and social environment.At the same time,he often had to take responsibility for caring for his grandchildren and doing housework,bringing many discomforts and challenges to the physical and mental health of the elderly.It is difficult to integrate into new urban communities.As a social work graduate student,it is the responsibility to pay attention to and think about how to help the elderly who are moving to achieve community integration.This paper aims to conduct qualitative research on the elderly who are moving from the perspective of social work,and use the methods of group work and community work to intervene in the community integration of the elderly who are moving,and provide practical suggestions for the elderly to integrate into the urban community system to reduce their communities.Integrate obstacles in the process to meet their integration needs and improve their sense of integration and happiness in urban communities.This article takes 25 elderly people in the J community as the research object,tries to use the methods of literature research and field research to understand the status of the old people in the real and detailed way,and collect relevant research data through participatory observation and in-depth interviews.The research and analysis of the research data found that it faced the problems and needs in the community integration.In order to help the elderly in the community to improve the existing integration difficulties,taking into account the integrity and continuity of the community of the old people moving in the past,the author through the group work and community work to improve the level of behavioral integration and psychological integration of the elderly with the move,to achieve its From passive to active community integration purposes.The study found that social work has a certain effect in promoting the community integration of the elderly living with the elderly.Through the work of the group and the community work,the old people selected by the author from the initial reluctance,passive participation in community activities to actively contribute themselves.The energy of the community to serve other residents,establish and improve the social support network in the activities,and constantly improve their own capabilities and confidence,and ultimately into the community,with a sense of identity and community belonging,and gradually achieve community integration.It is not enough to rely on social worker services for the community integration of the elderly with the old people.It also requires the attention and efforts of the family,the community,and the government.To this end,the author proposes to promote the support of family members,actively play the role of the community,and improve social security.The system has three practical suggestions,and it is expected that the integration needs of the elderly groups will attract widespread attention.
