Research On The Intervention Of Group Work In Alleviating The Occupational Pressure Of Grass Roots Police

As the police station organization of the public security organ,the grass roots police station is an important force to ensure the grass roots people to live and work in peace and contentment and maintain the long term stability of the grass roots society.In recent years,with the development of social economy and the acceleration of life rhythm,the contradictions and instability factors in grass roots society have gradually highlighted,which brings new challenges to the work of grass roots police stations.As the cornerstone force of the public security police force,the police force of the grass-roots police station is facing much higher professional pressure than other occupations,which will lead to negative emotions of the grass-roots police,reduce the efficiency of the grass-roots police,not only have a bad impact on the physical and mental health of individuals,but also bring hidden dangers to social stability.In this paper,the police of H town police station as the research object,using the method of group work in social work to intervene the police’s occupational pressure,and strive to ease the occupational pressure of the police of H town police station,improve their ability to deal with the pressure.In this study,first of all,the author uses the research methods of literature research,semi-structured interview and field investigation to collect and analyze the current situation of police pressure in H town police station,so as to lay a certain foundation for the subsequent improvement of police pressure in H town police station;Secondly,through the interview records and field observation,we can draw the conclusion that excessive occupational pressure has adverse effects on the police in the police station,and comprehensively analyze the pressure sources of the police in the H town police station,so as to carry out more targeted group activities in the follow up.Finally,we take the group dynamics,cognitive behavior theory and empowerment theory as the main guiding theories,In order to relieve the occupational pressure of the police in H town and improve their ability to cope with the pressure,the intervention of social work group activities was carried out for the police in H town police station.Five group activities were carried out from the aspects of pressure disclosure,advantage discovery,emotion control,team cohesion and professional identity.The research of this paper can enrich the research content of Police Occupational Stress in grass roots police stations,provide certain guidance and reference for reducing the occupational stress of grass roots police,promoting the physical and mental health of grass roots police,and improving the ability of grass roots police to cope with stress,and provide new ideas and useful reference for social work practice to intervene in occupational stress.
