A Study On The Current Affairs Propaganda Of The Communist Party Of China From 1949 To 1952

Publicity of current affairs,in this study,refers to the planned dissemination of major events at home and abroad by the Communist Party of China from 1949 to1952 to guide the public to form a correct and scientific value judgment so as to correctly understand the current situation and identify with and support the Party’s various principles and policies.The propaganda of current affairs plays an important role in mobilizing the masses,pooling thoughts and unifying forces.It is the lubricant for the Party and government organs to promote various work and the main part of political propaganda.There are many factors,such as history and reality,theory and practice,that carry out the propaganda of CPC’s current affairs from 1949 to 1952.From the perspective of theory,the Marxist classical writers’ news propaganda theory,especially the theory about current affairs propaganda,is the ideological guidance of the CPC to carry out current affairs propaganda work in this period.From the perspective of history and practice,the practical experience of current affairs propaganda accumulated by the CPC during the revolutionary period has become a useful reference for the work carried out in this period.From a practical point of view,it is the complicated political situation,weak economic foundation and disorderly public opinion environment that the Communist Party of China（CPC）faces after coming into power that become the direct motive force for the CPC to rapidly promote the propaganda work of current affairs.Appropriate publicity pattern is conducive to the smooth development of current affairs publicity work.After the establishment of the People’s Republic of China,the existing propaganda structure of has been not adapted to the internal requirements of the wholeness,effectiveness,systematicness and accuracy of the current affairs propaganda work.In response,the CPC promptly developed and adjusted all kinds of current affairs publicity channels,optimized and improved the quality and scale of current affairs publicity subjects,and quickly constructed a relatively perfect current affairs publicity work pattern.In the construction of the working pattern,the relevant political news propaganda is carried out in an orderly manner.Politically,it mainly carried out the propaganda of the founding ceremony,suppression of counter-revolution,the three and five counter-revolts,and anti-American aid to the DPRK;economically,it reported and publicized the major economic recovery and construction work of production and disaster relief,unification of finance and economics;diplomatically and internationally,it focused on the Sino-Soviet relations and the peaceful signing movement.Current affairs publicity as this period mainly play three major political functions,namely,"Correction and guidance of public opinion","clarification and respond and prevention of rumors","to prevent and deal with the public opinion crisis",on the basis of respecting the objective laws of propaganda activities,the communist party of China（CPC）stives to create a set of current affairs publicity mechanism model with its own characteristics,which makes the current affairs publicity more scientific and systematic.In general,the CPC’s current affairs publicity work from 1949 to 1952 was outstanding and fruitful.Historically,it accelerated the understanding and recognition of the ruling concept and ability of the Communist Party of China,thus fully mobilized the public to participate in the consolidation of the new regime,and promoted the popularization of Marxism to a certain extent.At present,it provides reference and inspiration for the development of current affairs propaganda in our country.
