Reserach On Emergency Management Of Public Health Emergencies In New Media Environment

In the context of the development of information dissemination to the new media era,public health incidents have emerged as a new risk point of media dissemination.Due to the dissemination characteristics of new media,the negative impact of public health incidents is not limited to specific time and space.In addition,due to the revolution of communication mode brought by new media,the main body of agenda setting has appeared a trend of diversification.Different types of agenda interweave and conflict with each other,especially the agenda setting of individuals and media has broken the monopoly of decision-making agenda.The traditional emergency response mechanism for public health incidents has not adapted to the development and changes of the new media and public opinion environment.Accurately grasp the laws of communication in the era of new media,reform the public health incident handling mechanism,and minimize the negative effects of bad spread of new media on public health incidents.The effective use of new media to make a reasonable voice in handling such incidents has become a top priority for government crisis management.Based on the actual situation of my country’s response to the pneumonia epidemic caused by the new crown virus in 2020,this article adopts research methods such as literature classification,case classification,and combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to consider the current status,existing problems and path recommendations of public health incident emergency management in the new media environment.Through the research of this article,we hope to provide theoretical support and practical reference in promoting the new media response in the handling of public health incidents in my country.This article takes the emergency management of public health incidents in the new media environment as the research object.First,it explains the relevant theories of new media and emergency management of public health incidents.Secondly,it takes China’s response to the new crown pneumonia epidemic as a case analysis,by combining practical cases with risk society theory,Agenda setting and crisis life cycle theory are combined and discussed,and specific research is carried out on the current situation of emergency management of public health emergencies in China’s new media era.The problems in the emergency management of political and public health incidents in the new media environment,analyze the main reasons,and on this basis,the article proposes ways to improve the emergency management of public health events in my country’s new media environment to build a benign interaction mechanism between the government,the media,and the public.
