Study On Emergency Material Management In A District Of Beijing Under Public Health Emergencies

With the continuous development of the globalized economy and the strengthening of globalization and integration trend,China’s activities in international exchanges are becoming increasingly active.At present,China is in a critical period of economic and social transformation.Globalization has provided good development opportunities for China’s economic development.However,while the frequency of activities in other countries has increased,it also faces enormous risks and challenges,among which the risk of sudden public health problems is more prominent.In recent years,various kinds of infectious epidemic events have frequently broken out in the world,such as the "SARS" epidemic in China in2003,the global human infection of highly pathogenic avian influenza in 2004,the global influenza A(H1N1)in 2009,the global COVID-19 in 2019,and so on.Such events not only have a deep degree of harm,a wide range of impact,and a long duration,but also pose a great threat to people’s life,health and safety,This poses a huge challenge to the government’s emergency response work.Local governments at all levels,as grassroots service institutions,play a key role in handling various emergency material management work in the event of public health emergencies.In emergency response work,the government should prioritize ensuring the safety of people’s lives and the primary protection of their physical health as the goal.It can be seen that the management of emergency supplies to ensure people’s lives and health is a key and supportive work in emergency management.Against the background of the COVID-19 in 2019 in China,although local governments at all levels have accumulated rich experience and made outstanding achievements in emergency materials management through more than three years of anti epidemic experience,there are still outstanding management problems in some areas,such as insufficient preparations for preventive work,serious weaknesses in the management process,and conflicts between radical and conservative management methods,These places urgently need to benchmark the management standards and excellent achievements of other cities in China.Therefore,"Research on Local Government Emergency Material Management in the Event of Public Health Emergencies" is an important research topic.Taking the prevention and control of COVID-19 in District A of Beijing as an example,this paper studies the problems in the emergency management of COVID-19 in the district,analyzes the causes of the problems,and puts forward targeted suggestions for improvement by combing the development of management in District A,analyzing the measures of emergency materials management,summarizing practical experience and the results achieved,Thus providing experience and reference for the management of emergency supplies in response to public health emergencies for the district and other local governments.
