The Research On Xinjiang’s Anti-terrorism Under The Framework Of The Shanghai Cooperation Organization

Xinjiang’s terrorism still threatens the security and stability of China’s northwestern frontier regions.The terrorist forces in Xinjiang intend to collude with international terrorist forces and anti-China forces,and strongly promote their "theory" and internationalization of behavior.This kind of behavior of terrorists has increased the complexity of China’s anti-terrorism in Xinjiang.Therefore,China has actively promoted the establishment and development of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization with regional cooperation and counter-terrorism as its important task.China has severely cracked down on Xinjiang’s terrorism within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.The anti-terrorism struggle in Xinjiang under this framework has made the international space of terrorists in Xinjiang more compressed,and the security situation in Xinjiang is also more gratifying.Despite this,the anti-terrorism struggle in Xinjiang is still an unrelenting long-term and complicated work.The smooth realization of the overall goal of Xinjiang’s social stability and long-term stability is inseparable from the continued function of the anti-terrorism function.Therefore,it is the purpose and significance of this paper to deepen the study of the effective combination of the anti-terrorism function of the United States and the anti-terrorism work in Xinjiang,and to contribute to the new victory in Xinjiang’s counter-terrorism work.The content of this paper can be divided into five parts.The first is to summarize and analyze the international anti-terrorism practical experience and the more famous terrorism theory.The second is to summarize the anti-terrorism function of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization,analyze its anti-terrorism effect,and draw the results as its main aspect.However,there are also shortcomings;the third is the impact of terrorism in Xinjiang and the neighboring regions of Xinjiang,namely,Central Asia,Chechnya,and northern Asia on the security and stability of Xinjiang;Fourth,the issue of Xinjiang’s terrorism under the framework of the SCO to solve the problems of these problems,it is pointed out that on the one hand,it is from the SCO’s own imperfections,on the other hand,it comes from the threat of terrorist forces and anti-China forces in Xinjiang and other regions.The fifth part proposes to improve the counter-terrorism countermeasures in Xinjiang by improving the anti-terrorism function of the SCO.First,member states should adhere to the issue of equal emphasis on efficiency and equality in counter-terrorism cooperation.Second,the Shanghai Cooperation Organization as a whole should pay attention to systemicity and flexibility in anti-terrorism,comprehensively apply rigid and flexible,short-term-long-term integration,and treat both the symptoms and the root causes.And a variety of governance methods to counter terrorism.The arduous and complicated work of Xinjiang’s anti-terrorism struggle cannot be taken lightly in the current situation of Xinjiang’s situation.Instead,it will seize the opportunity of a better situation and use the SCO’s anti-terrorism platform to work with member states.“ Willing to chase after the poor”,to the greatest extent to combat the terrorist forces in Xinjiang.
