Marx And Engels’s Social Governance And Its Contemporary Value

With the advancement of comprehensively deepening reforms,China’s social structure and social contradictions have changed accordingly,which has led to a huge challenge to the old model of social governance.It is obviously unpractical that the current social problems in China will be solved by the original model of social governance.Therefore,the focus of our concerns is to try our best to promote the perfection and modernization of the social governance system.Marx was for the liberation of mankind and the well-being of mankind throughout his life.Although he and Engels never specify the concept of "social governance",in practice,they always show the focus on this problem,and their works contained massive and profound thoughts on social governance,which has also laid a solid theoretical foundation for our research.In the social governance environment of new era,the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core makes clear thinking and attaches great importance to the reform of the social governance system.The Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China puts forward:"The formation of a scientific and effective social governance system should be accelerated to ensure that the society is full of harmony and order,as well as vitality.”This statement represents that the Party has made clear the overall goal of social construction in the new era,and also indicates that the Party has further deepened its understanding of the overall layout of social construction.The reports to the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China once again called for "building a social governance pattern based on joint contribution,joint governance and shared benefits."
